Fits perfect! I'm 5-6" and 140lbs and the length was perfect as well the fit around the waist. I got this to give my mermaid wedding dress a nice full flair and it does!!!! I was going to have the dress altered a few inches at them bottom( along with other things)- but now i don't have too! Saved me $200 on that portion of the alterations without even meaning too. If your thinking about it-JUST BUY IT! Its worth every penny. Life savor! I bought a dress for an event being 5'2 I would have to spend extra $$ on tailoring and the timeframe I had was too tight. When walking I would step on the front of the dress and trip. In a panic I ordered this, and it worked. The petticoat is perfect IF you are 5'2 or SHORTER. Its almost too short for me, I hadl to wear lower on my waist to adjust. All in all its a lifesaver and made my gown look great, while not falling on my face!

The hoop had to be trimmed down a bit but length was perfect for my daughter who's 5'4", 125lbs; 25" waist 36" hips. Added much needed volume to a prom dress that was altered from a-line to mermaid.

It broke by the end of my wedding but it served its purpose and made my wedding dress look very full and it was very breezy under my dress because of the large hoop

I was so worried about my dress not looking full at the bottom but I was pushing it on time and money to get the alterations exactly how I wanted. This helped sooooo much. It made my dress do and look how I wanted and made walking and dancing much easier lol. And of course my legs sweated but I mean that would have happened even without it, and it wasnât an alarming amount. It was very comfortable and seemless!

This slip is a perfect addition for your mermaid wedding dress. I thought I would need my dress altered for length because I'm only 5'3 and could not get a petite wedding gown. The slip lifted the dress up along with fluffing it out so I no longer needed it taken up. This saved me tons of money on alterations since my dress has four layers. As for the fitted top of the slip, it is stretchy so it can fit many body types. Also, since the slip fits snuggly on the body, the slip can be adjusted on the body if the hoop is too high. I placed the elastic waistband on my natural hip and it reached the area that I needed it to reach to lift and fluff. I'm so thankful! First picture is before adding the slip. Second picture is after adding the slip. Huge difference!

This slip is tiny! I weigh 125 pounds, and could barely squeeze myself into it. The top is shape wear/girdle fabric. This should be good, but it makes the slip uncomfortable. It looks strange under my dress, because you can see the elastic waistband, although my dress is loose. It doesn't create a "muffin top", but almost! Also, it is very short. I am 5'1", and it doesn't touch the floor. This could be because I am too chubby for it, but if the slip isn't pulled all the way down, there is a strange ring effect at the hem. There is only one layer of tulle, so if you remove the hoop, the slip won't do much. On the plus side, the slip makes it much easier to walk! One reviewer suggested stretching out the waist over the back of a chair, and I may try that. I'm not fond of looking, or feeling like a sausage in a tight casing! I gave three stars because if you are under 5'3", and weigh under 115 pounds, this slip will be perfect for you.

first pic is WITHOUT, 2nd pic is WITH. This $20 thing saved me probably $200 in alterations. i thought i was going to have to get it altered because i was stepping on my dress. when i first got this in the mail and opened it i was worried it was going to puff out my dress too much, because it looked really round, but when i put my dress on it worked perfect. just the right amount of space underneath now to where i no longer step on my dress but my dress doesn't look too poofy. I looked at several of these on amazon and spent hours reading reviews, finally decided to just go with this one and so glad i did.
