I absolutely love this waist cincher. Especially, because now it is half the price it use to be. Some people complain about how it creases/wrinkles in the center. That is true about the product if you do not purchase the correct size. Also remember all fabrics don't work well with waist trainers, I recommend wearing a slip over it when wearing a tight shirt or dress to prevent it from showing threw -depending on the material. There are quite a few misconceptions or unreal expectations for waist garments. Make sure to order the correct size. All waist cinchers aren't great for everyone- they should include length. If you have a really short torso you may find this product uncomfortable. I am 5'3 but my torso is approximately *10 in from bra line to waist. Its fits me perfectly. This Vedette Valerie waist cincher has firm coverage and shrinks your waist about 2-3 inches. However, It is not stiff. What I love most about it is how you can move around and bend in it. It moves with you, not against you. I have bought many steel boned corsets and waist trainers but this is my go to one. I own three of this product because it is so amazing. I originally was going to wear a steel boned corset under my wedding dress but I want to be comfortable and I like to dance. I can wear this product for ten hours easily.

I have a couple of Vedette cinchers. The only bad thing is if you wear anything thin. You can see the panel of hooks down the front and everyone knows your wearing shapewear. Someone should incorporate a smoothing panel over the front where you hook it up. If you have on something thick like jeans and a sweater it looks fine. I will say it does deliver on keeping everything in place and sort of helps with posture but it is uncomfortable after a couple of hours. And you should wear it over a cotton chemise or thin tank top or else this rubber will have you sweating up a storm! Beauty hurts!

Great shapewear!

Ok, even though this thing was slightly smaller than another piece of shape wear that I own from the same company, it is still one of the best waist trimmers out there. I am 5'8 and 160lbs, with narrow hips and a smallyear-end. I have recently dropped about 15 lbs, because when I first attempted to put this thing on, I as about 175. I am currently wearing it on the largest setting and it fits delightfully snug. I'm okay with that, now that it fits. This waist cinched is comfortable, rigid, and extremely supportive. It sucks you in and cinches you in all the right places. It looks good underneath clothing too, without being obvious. One downside though, that is only specific to women with my body type, is that my boobs now look way huge and way "at the position of attention". I wear a 36 DDD and my already large bust looks way more obvious. That's the only thing I would point out...however this happens with all under the bust waist trimmers and shapewear for me. Just keep this in mind if you are also a large busted lady.Anyway, this is a staple item, a must-buy item. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Hour glass figure!

I'm small. 5'4 , 115 pounds. My bf pays for prime so I got it fast 8-18-14. I really want to train my core to have that hour glass figure and oh my gosh! Do I! It's very comfortable and fits perfect. I got my normal size which is small. And when I put it on, of course it's going to be a bit difficult, it's supposed to be super tight. That's why it's called CLINCHER lol I love this, it looks great on me. I can even wear fitted clothes with it. Very sexy. I recommend this to every woman that either wants to lose belly fat and get that hour glass figure while doing that. Or just to train your waist. ♡♡♡♡

Overall I am super happy with this very frugally priced waist trainer

This was the first time I have ever ordered or worn a waist trainer. I am 5'10", average to athletic build, 34GG, 42" B, 38 1/2" W, 42" H and wear a size 12 to 14. This trainer was extremely tight the first time I put it on. Honestly I could barely get the first row hooked. However, within a day and a half I had already moved it to the second row. I have not at any time been uncomfortable or too hot. In fact I didn't think I was sweating until I removed it and noticed a lite, even sweat over the entire area under the trainer. Hooray! After posting this review I am going to order this trainer again but two sizes smaller than the first purchase which was a 2XL. After doing more research I found a lot of more experienced waist trainer users suggesting lying down to fasten the hooks as well as starting at the bottom. The only reason I did not rate it as five stars is because it wrinkles a bit at the front on me. Perhaps it is just too big? It only has four very small very flexible bones which is a plus for working out or sleeping in it (I did both). Overall I am super happy with this very frugally priced waist trainer!

LOVE THIS...I have been wearing this product for over a year...I had also bought another brand first, however they stretched out rather quickly and btw were not cheap so I decided to try this brand and am very happy I did...I wear it everyday ( I have both colors ) wash them by hand and dry them on a hanger...they are very comfortable but of course take some getting used to at first...but so did wearing a bra but you couldn't wait to do that, right?...this has taken my waist and back in so much...my measurement without my shapewear is 37 at my bellybutton...it is 34 with it and I am still on the largest set of hooks...I could "lose" another 1 1/2 if I went to the smallest hooks...just to help you decide your size I am 5'4"...weight is 145 -150...size 10 or M - L on top and size 8 or 10 on the bottom and both sizes depend on the style...and if it helps I am 67 years old...I also have a real back problem...have had surgery and have had implanted and removed a tens for pain...this helps support my back and I am so glad I found this...you won't be sorry

longer torso waist trainer

Burned notice

Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2015

I'm a women's size 8 to 10 and the 36 fits snug but great. I have an hourglass shape more or less but was looking to waist train to tone up my middle a bit. This will do the trick. I find this brand better than most others in terms of quality and I have found other brands to run extremely short on my torso creating a wierd lower tummy bulge. This brand runs longer and really covers your torso completely so there's no unsightly bulges. I'm very happy with the quality and the price and would recommend!!
