Versatile and rugged

Itâs a big bag, roomy, lots of pockets. The color is darker than pictured, I ordered the black. Itâs very nicely styled, rugged and heavy. For those rugged girls who lift itâs perfect. I like it very much perfect to hold a notebook or two journals. Outside pockets and easy access zipper so you wonât have to unfold it. Love the versatility.

I had been going back & forth between a few similar bags but am so glad I got this one! Unique & I get a ton of compliments & people asking where I got it from. I originally did not realize that the back zipper wasn't a separate compartment until I got it & reread the description, but it is extremely useful being able to access the main interior so it ended up being a huge positive rather than a negative! I'm overly organized so I love all the little pockets & zippers inside the front compartment & love the fact that the fold-down flap covers the additional compartment. It doesn't look like it will hold a lot, especially when folded in front, but it has tons of room...even for all my "mom" things. Adjustable strap & clips are convenient & the shoulder support is nice without looking formal or "old-lady," takes a lot of the weight off my shoulder being I have arthritis. Arrived fast & honestly have no complaints!
perfect for travel

I used this as a combo purse, carry-on, shopping bag on a couple recent trips. It's the most versatile bag I've found in ages. It fit an iPad, small umbrella, shopping totes, phone/chargers, a small toiletry kit, a light nylon windbreaker, snacks, and a small water bottle! It's got tons of pockets. The zipper on the back which accesses the inside (without opening the flap) is a great convenience too. It's a purse that does the job of a backpack.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag! It is sturdy but not heavy, the wide padded strap is comfortable. The many pockets inside are great for organizing and the back zipper that allow interior access is GENIUS! Other reviewers have mentioned that the bag is deep if trying to access it from the top zipper; it is. I have solved this by using a felt purse organizer so that everything is level with the interior zipper. I also used Otter wax to make the bag water resistant. It holds up to a heavy downpour and the water just beads up and runs off. A very satisfying purchase.

This bag seems really sturdy, but if you are someone who needs to quickly reach in and dig around your bag, this is probably not the bag for you. It has tons of great compartments, but getting into them because of the flap and how deep down the actual storage is (because of the flap) is tricky and it takes me a while to be able to find stuff in a couple of the compartments in the main section.
Heavyweight Material

The bag is pretty heavy once you add personal items. Although it's a very nice design, the material is sturdy, but heavyweight for a med-size crossbody bag. The zippers are heavy duty and if not careful can cut the fingers. I find it cumbersome to use the zip when folded down when you need easy access.Was going to use it for travel as personal bag, but rather perfer a backpack similar in material and style.

I LOVE this purse. Iâm very picky about my purses/bags and I hate having one big pocket where everything goes to die.....I can NEVER find what I need in a timely manner. With this bag I get to keep my âquickâ items like my phone, kindle, chapstick and air pods in the front pocket, while my hand sanitizer, checkbook, lotion and other items go in the big pocket. Thereâs also two zippered pockets inside where I keep bandaids and gift cards. I love it! The fabric is a heavy duty canvas and Iâve already spilled a bite of yogurt on it....it wiped right up. (I also spray my fabric purses with scotch-guard). I also love that the back zipper is an easy access so you donât have to flip the top each time you want to get in the purse. Genius
A bag that satisfies both our travel needs

We are currently in self-imposed quarantine, with my husband lucky enough to be working from home, so as for longevity, we can vouch for the black (really, dark grey) version we bought for him. It looks just as nice as it did when we received it, and not much wear visible sitting next to my identical new "rose"bag (a lovely boysenberry color, more purple than pink, as I had hoped). We had first tried a different brand of bag (initials T.C.), but while a tiny bit more stylish, it was clearly not as well made as the Amhoo brand, and not going to be as rugged in the long haul (for everyday carrying to work, in lieu of a briefcase, and hiking, camping--if we ever get to do those things again). The lining looks average, like it may need to be torn out or replaced in a couple of years, but these canvas bags should last a lifetime. Bravo for Amhoo!
