A Great Casual Bag with Lots of Space and Lots of Pockets

I got this bag for the days I need a purse don't want to carry a typical fashion purse. This one is perfect for that. When I was purchasing this bag, I noticed that it comes in so many pretty colors. I love that the shades aren't typical colors or anything primary. It's hard to pick a favorite. However, I got the one that is called Grape. It definitely looks grapey. The color is just as rich and beautiful in person as it is online, if not more so. It makes me wish I had them all. I had my bag sitting at my feet a couple of days ago, and one of the first things my friend noticed when he sat next to me is my bag. He picked it up just to look at and comment on the nice color.This bag is a great size. It's not an oversized bag but it's big enough to hold a whole lot of stuff. It also has many pockets. On the front of the bag, there are three zippered pockets. One is medium-large, one is medium, and one is small. There is a pouch for bottles on each side of the bag that have an elastic mouth for stretching open. The back has a medium-large sized zippered pocket too. Then there is the main compartment (also zippered) of the bag. This compartment has a medium-large size zippered pocket inside of it. It also has two pouches inside that are great for holding cell phones and things of that size. The main compartment itself has a whole lot of room. I put my entire purse's contents inside of this bag, a bottle of Benedryl, two EpiPens, some snacks, a juice pouch, etc., and I still has leftover pockets and room for more things.Although this bag holds a lot of stuff, it is not a large bag. You're not going to feel as if you're carrying around a diaper bag. It's the size of a standard size purse and maybe an inch longer and inch wider than a standard size sheet of paper.The carrying strap is quite long, but it's adjustable so you can make it smaller. It's made from the same sort of material that the adjustable strap pieces on school backpacks are made from. You can carry it as a crossbody bag or an over-the-shoulder bag. The purse itself is a nice material that almost reminds me of a softer version of a windbreaker jacket. It feels a bit silky. The inside material is like the inside of a canvas backpack. The bag is good quality and sewn really well. The seams are perfect, there are no threads, and there are no flaws. The zippers work perfectly too.This bag is great for day trips to places like the beach or the zoo. It's also great for places like a festival at which you might need to carry some things but you might not want to carry a typical purse. It's also great for travel. If you have small children, this bag is great to have. It will work great as a smaller diaper bag or even a bag in which to carry snacks, toys, and other child gear. My three-year-old daughter has asthma and a peanut allergy, so I use this bag to carry all of her medications as well as my own stuff when we go out. It holds everything I need for it to hold and then some. I am very happy with it.I received this product at a discount in exchange for product testing and a review.

When I opened the package, I was so disappointed in this bag. For one thing, it looked smaller than I expected and I felt sure it wouldn't hold enough. The side pockets were cinched tight with elastic and I was sure my phone (a Samsung S7 in a case) would never fit. The zippers were half-zipped and I had to unzip them and then rezip them to get them right, and I was sure they would be flimsy. And the strap was not made of the same material as the rest of the bag but instead some shinier material that I felt sure would twist and slip and generally be a pain in my behind.I was wrong about all of that. It holds plenty; I have no where near filled it. My phone fits, albeit snugly...but then again I don't want it fitting loosely and falling out. I would almost say it fits perfectly. The strap has not twisted and honestly it is the least slippery strap I've had in a long time. It stays up!I've only had it a week or two, but none of the zippers have shown any signs of failing. The pulls themselves are metal. The zipper compartment on the back is the exact right size to hold a standard sized sheet of paper folded in half. The slip pockets in the main compartment are slightly larger than in any other purse I own and this makes it easier to get things out of them. (I carry an iPod in one and a set of ear buds and a charger in the other.)I purchased the grape colored one, with reservations because colors are iffy due to differences in computer monitors, perhaps purples most of all, but the color is lovely and rich. There are no funny smells, no frayed or ragged stitching. It stands up and doesn't slump. The main compartment opens wide enough I can see what is in it all the way to the bottom. So far it has not picked up any grunge from sliding around the floor of my car. It is a good solid casual bag for the price. I am pleased with it.

Pros: love the color and fabric and it has LOTS of pockets. Cons: it's a bit smaller than I expected. The pouches on either side will not hold a water bottle, not even a very small one. I was hoping to use this as a transitional diaper bag/purse. I don't need a full diaper bag anymore but want a purse I can fit a few toddler essentials in. Also, the little emblem on it is attached upside down which is annoying but I don't want the hassle of exchanging it.

This bag holds it all - and keeps things separate so they can be found - without being large and bulky. As you can in the photo, it does hold a standard 16 oz. water bottle. My Samsung S7 in its case fits just fine in the front zipper pocket. After I got everything in I still had room for my Fire 8 in its case! At this price you can have it in a couple colors. This was an excellent find for me.

I really love this purse! I'm very picky and hard to please, but this purse has so many features I like, and it's lightweight, in addition to being very organized (my prime requisite). The purple color is GORGEOUS -- much prettier than the image photo.The only thing I'm confused about is one of the front zippered pockets: the length of the zipper is much shorter than the length of the pocket. It almost looks like they accidentally sewed in a zipper for the very front pocket (the small one just above the Soyater logo) into the second pocket, the front one just above that smallest front pocket. I'm uploading photos to illustrate what I'm talking about.That particular zipper is much shorter than the pocket, and the ends of the pocket seem unfinished; see photos. If this is a flaw, I will be returning the purse to exchange for another one of this same purse, as I really do love the purse itself. Just this one thing is annoying.If you like purple, you won't be disappointed in the color of this purse. It's an intense jewel-tone, a vibrant, dark amethyst. The compact nature of the purse, while holding quite a lot, are winners for me.
