This is an EXCELLENT tote!! I purchased the brown, and the quality of the leather is premium, the same that saddles are made from. The leather is thick and stands on its own even with nothing inside. The distressed look only adds to the beauty of this bag. This is an oiled leather so if you purchase the dark brown one it could rub off on your clothes. Regardless of which color I suggest wiping it down before using it. The plaid Burberry print canvas bag that comes with it is large and very accomodating. The trim is the same leather as the tote. The inside of the tote is a raw unfinished look but the bottom of the bag has a lining. The only down side( a slight design flaw) to this tote (which is easily remedied) is that the seams (two in front, two in back, one on each side) should have a little more overlap and be double stitched. I can see where it would come apart if you grab it by the body and not the straps, or perhaps overstuffing it..... both of which I'm guilty of. Mine are not coming apart but I am taking it to my local leather shop and having them all reinforced before I use it. All in all, for the price of this tote it is amazing and absolutely stunning!! Very fashionable and I love that I can use it year round. This bag could easily retail for $300-$400.For those who said it isn't real leather, I'm not sure what they need as proof.....do they need it to moo at them?!Absolutely 100% genuine cowhide. This bag is gorgeous, I have not had the same issues as others. Mine did not discolor clothes or start to rip at the seams. I put a lot in my bag & am not very gentle. Itâs held up wonderfully. I love the pouch that comes with it.*Update: Iâve now owned my bag for 6 months. The leather has soften. No rips or tears to the straps or seams. Itâs been my main bag since I purchased it. Still my fav.

I purchased this tote back in July and I love it! It's well made, sturdy, quality leather that is going to get better and better with age. This is a piece that, if cared for properly, could last for generations.There is a removable bag for organizing smaller items that comes inside the tote. It's a plaid pattern that reminds me a little bit of the signature plaid for an iconic English brand name. The smaller bag is made of cotton or a cotton blend perhaps. It has leather trim on the corners and around the zipped opening. Inside the smaller bag, which is actually quite roomy, there are a couple of open pockets on one side and a zipped pocket on the other.This tote holds a ton of stuff! Daily, I carry a large aluminum water bottle, a full bottle of ibuprofen, various other meds/vitamins, about half a dozen lip sticks/glosses, lotion, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a bunch of pens, a 7" Kindle Fire HDX, an external battery, USB cords, my phone, some ear buds, a pair of rolled up scrubs, clogs, sometimes an extra pair of socks . . . Well, you get the idea . . .Did I mention how amazing the leather smells? No? It smells really, really good!This bag was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The quality for the price is outstanding. Highly, highly recommended!

I've been using the bag for a couple of months now, on and off. I put everything in there. The bag looks, smells, behaves, and feels like real leather. I don't mind the scuff marks, I think it adds character. I luv the rich brown colour, have NOT had dye bleed on any of my clothes. The bag is raw, meaning no lining or zipper, or any major finishing touches. It hasn't broken on me. The straps are still good, but I also don't treat my things like crap or pull on them very hard for no reason. Who ever had their straps come undone, i'm not sure what the situation was but you'd have to really pull hard and violently to get that result - is what I'm thinking. The laptop in the picture is a DELL E7470 that is approx 13.5 inches wide (left to right) and 9.25 inches in length (top to bottom).
Better than Frye bags

This bag is gorgeous! Iâm ordering the dark brown immediately. This is better than the 4 Frye bags that I own at a fraction of the cost. Wow!Iâll update if there are any future issues with stitching and leather falling apart.Itâs December 18th and my bag is still perfection! Iâve had it for about 2 1/2 months (carried everyday since it arrived) and itâs held up wonderfully!

Iâm a paralegal and in law school- I drag this bag around EVERYWHERE with me. Itâs replaced my other purses as well- large enough to double as a brief case/ purse. My law books are huge and this bag holds up so well.The guy who handmakes the bag is very nice- sends a little handsigned letter along. And the little inside pouch is perfect!Canât recomend this bag enough

Thick leather, and made very nice. great size. I debated between this and one from Baseballism, and figured I'd try this bag before spending more than double for Baseballism. Im happy with my choice. I do wish this bag had some small pockets to hold my car keys or phone. The second smaller bag that this comes with does come with small pockets on the inside, but I don't plan on using the smaller bag inside of the main leather bag. I would recommend this bag to others. I would like to see it in black too.

The leather is amazing! The construction is impeccable and simply beautiful. An absolutely outstanding bag for the cost. A purse shoppe owner thought I paid over $300.
