Almost the perfect crossbody

I searched a long time to find my Fall/winter bag and this is it. I'm pretty picky about bags and sent back quite a few before finding this treasure.I've been loving the small crossbody bag style for some time now; having both arms free and not worrying about misplacing my handbag is awesome. Not to mention I end up lugging around a bunch of useless crap when I carry a bigger bag!I was looking for a somewhat structured bag with more of an urban style with silver-colored hardware, that had to be big enough to house my iPhone 7 plus along with a small wallet, pack of tissue, lip gloss, keys and a few other small things. This bag has amazing style with the saffiano type leather and perforated front. The front pocket inside is an exact fit for my iPhone 7 plus and the size allows for everything I need to carry but no more. I can also carry a spare small phone battery if needed and just hang a tassel charge cord from one of the D-rings on the sideAs for the negatives, I find the leather to be rather stiff - not sure if it will soften up as I use it, on the other hand it needs to stay structured and not go limp so I'm not really complaining. Also it's missing a zippered pocket inside; I was worried when traveling that my passport would fall out as there is nowhere really 'secure' to hide it. The front pocket is the only zippered pocket and you can't put much more than a single key or a small piece of paper or else it bulges unattractively.Rebecca Minkoff still sells a version of the Astor in her 2017 collection online, I saw it at Nordstrom and it's definitely not as nice as this perforated saffiano version; this one is a gem!

Cute bag. Doesn't hold a ton which is ok. The most annoying thing about it is that the two metal pieces squeak like crazy. Drives me nuts!

It says it's leather and it's not. It's falling apart and I've only had it for 6 months. BOTH Sides of the strap holders have broken. IT's NOT A REAL Rebecca Minkoff bag

The strap ripped after just over 1 month of use. Unbelievably disappointing and shabby quality. Will never buy again!
