Great quality, versatile and classic bag

This has been my everyday purse since I purchased it roughly nine months ago. Although it's not full-grain leather from what I can tell, it's constructed very well and is showing absolutely no signs of wear - it looks exactly the same as it did brand new. The leather is beautiful, a true black with some shine to it, but not as much as patent leather.It's sturdy enough to hold its shape even when not holding many items, but still flexible. The outside zipper pocket is fairly small but convenient for carrying change, lip balm, hair ties, etc. I haven't had any rips or stains on the interior lining. There are two pockets on one side of the interior - one is about the size of a cell phone and the other is a little bit bigger; there is a zipper-closed, decently sized pocket on the other inside wall; additionally, the divider doubles as a sleeve and has a zipper closure as well. There is an outside zipper that closes the whole bag, but to be honest I usually just leave it open.I haven't used the cross-body strap that came with it, but it hooks on nicely to the rings on the sides. I enjoy having the flexibility of the other two handle types, even though I mostly use the shoulder straps; I can carry a heavy load in the bag, but the straps seem to spread the weight enough to where the straps don't dig in to my shoulder.One of my criteria for buying this bag was that it's big enough to fit 8.5x11" notebooks and folders - it does that with a few extra inches to spare, so you don't have to struggle to make things fit.This is an attractive bag with a classic look, which makes it versatile for many outfits and situations - I actually don't remember using a different purse at all since I got this one. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase, and if the last nine months are any indication of its quality, it will last me for a number of years.

I want to give this bag a 5 but a few things. First, the dimensions are correct, but only on the outside. As one reviewer said, when you cinch up the side buckles, you do lose some room. Then, the liner inside, although seems like it will last and i love the material, seems to have been stitched slightly smaller than the full bag dimensions, which robs you of a little space. I bought this bag to hold some file folders to tote back and forth to work, and you can see in the pictures that 8.5 x 11 sheet papers fit no problem, but you can see the slightly larger blue folder pokes up (making it hard to zip close) and is slightly bowed due to tight quarters. I do love the size overall though, it feels like a purse and not a briefcase or oversized storage tote (as i am only 5'1 and giant totes seem to dwarf me!)Second, love that there are multiple holding options, but i wish the wrist handles would fold completely inward when i am using the shoulder straps. I could just be picky, but i like the cleaner look it would give.Third, as another reviewer said, shoulder straps seem thin. Wish they were reinforced with another layer of leather to bulk it up a bit. My bags tend to get heavy...I am hoping the straps will endure though, but I worry...I also hope the stitching holds up. Im not worried about it as the quality seems well made, but I know other reviewers had problems.On the plus, the black leather is absolutely gorgeous and shiny! Very high quality. The zippers and gold metal buckles are high quality as well. And the bag is very sharp and professional looking. It also stands up on its own, a little wobbly since it doesnt have legs and no hard structured walls, but thats why it looks more like a purse and not a brief. Overall very happy with it and plan on using it for a long time (but if it breaks, Ill be sure to update this review!!)

The purse is nice. The blue is actually a little darker than what the website leads it to be. But I like it. Itâs roomy and the details on the outside of the purse give it that different look.

Just received my bag, the only piece that is leather is the label attached to it. Really disappointed.

considering it is 'genuine leather' it has a chemical smell to it instead of the normal leather smell. Time will tell about durability but it is otherwise described. I wish I woould have chosen a different one purely down to the chemical odour.

Really disappointed with this purchase, wasn't able to give it a zero star rating and even that would have been generous. Despite description and advert photos, this is NOT genuine leather, it is horrible squeaky trashy orange plastic. Don't waste your hard earned money.
