I ordered the black purse that was Prime eligible (there were two purchasing options for the black purse at the time I ordered). The purse smells fine! It has silver hardware and the photos are very accurate. I am quite picky about purses and this one suits my needs. It does appear to be genuine leather. Soft enough but still firm enough to have the feel of durability. There is ample room in this purse which was key for me because you never know when you need to throw in a bottle of water and winter gloves. Some observations:1. The drop for the shoulder when using the shoulder strap is excellent. Plenty of room and it will work with bulky coats. Should also be fine for plus sized women. When you look at it lying flat it doesn't seem very long but once you add some weight to the bottom the purse folds. Additionally, the strap has functional buckles on both ends so you can adjust it and eve remove it if you prefer the long strap and it gets in the way.2. The long strap is nicely made and converts it to a cross-body style which feels and looks good (not awkward). Unlike other Heshe purses I looked at the strap does not have material sewn on one side. It's 100% leather.3. The interior pouches are not very deep, about 4" which isn't adequate for most smart phones, especially if you have a large case. This is not an issue for me since I never use these pockets for my phone. I will be using them for my primary cosmetics and mirror.4. The zipper pouch on the side is bigger than some reviews led me to believe. It's actually about 5.5" deep and pretty practical.5. The interior zipper pouch is nicely sized. Not too big, not too small.6. The dividing pouch in the middle is about as high as the purse is tall and it does a nice job with organizing. I keep all of my odds and ends in there and it's actually pretty easy to see them when you look inside.7. The lining is a lovely brown with a satin finish. The material feels very durable which is important.My one complaint is that the interior zipper pulls are small and hard to find blind. I'm sure I will get used to this in time or modify them.

The bag is as pictured, I have no complains with color and its very attractive âombreâ effect. Itâs a little heavy but comfortable to wear over shoulder. Itâs real top grain leather and it was a bit firm but itâs getting softer/more flexible every day. Iâve received many compliments.

This was my first HESHE purchase and it will not be my last. I purchased this bag in December 2016 and have used it daily since. The leather has softened up/became more flexible, but the integrity has not been compromised. There are zero scratches or marks on the leather, even after 7 months of wear. I'm always one to throw my bag on the floor and it has held up! The bottom of the bag still looks brand new! I've never heard of this brand before. I was in the market for a durable, leather bag... but didn't want to over pay, just to have a 'name' printed on the outside. I get so many compliments on this bag... and I haven't seen another person with it! I'm giving this bag 5 stars. It holds up fantastically through normal wear and tear.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. Wife happy with this gift.

There was a time when I thought I was the wife whisperer. Somehow I would be able to read tea leaves, detect body language or uncover some fashion trend and purchase the perfect gift for my wife. Well, it turns out I'm not. Now I just ask her for a couple ideas and then purchase a gift from the "suggestions." This purchase was a home run for me. She loved it and now all is right in my marital world...until it's time to buy another gift for my wife.She went on an on with how lovely it was and how happy this purse made her. She said stuff...good quality...LEATHER...nice, nice, nice. By that point I was distracted by something shiny on the periphery of my vision and the sounds of her words began getting more and more faint as I went to investigate.

I got this purse after all the purses I owned got ruined in flooding after hurricane Harvey. I wasn't sure that my 9mm s&w shield would fit in the side pocket, but I liked it so much that I figured I would still use the purse even if it didn't. My 9mm fits perfectly in the outside zipper pocket, and my 13" macbook pro fits in the purse perfectly. The leather is really nice, and the purse is sturdy and looks attractive. This is by far the nicest purse I've ever owned, and I love using it, even though I'm normally not a big fan of purses. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the product, I'm very impressed with this purse.

Okay bag at first glance. The packaging was good. It fits all my things and still left room for more. I think I could fit my notepad & charger, and my Kindle in it along with my regular things. The color of the leather is really orange rather than brown but the inside lining is nice. The surface is very âpebbledâ which I donât like at all. All of the hardware was covered in plastic to keep it from scratching and the long strap was wrapped separately and stored in the middle pouch of the bag. The short strap was wrapped in plastic also. The long strap is slightly shorter than I prefer. The bag is made in China, if that matters to you, but does appear to be real leather as advertised. There is no discernible odor and everything looks well sewn. The problem is, I just donât like it. Iâm probably going to return it. I canât get past the orange color and the pebbled surface of the leather.
