Gorgeous bag...

This bag is a bit larger than I expected from the picture and the description--I am not complaining about this at all! The correct dimensions (from the Frye website) are as follows: 15 3/4" wide X 12 1/4" high with a drop of 11 3/4" and the bag is made of rugged Italian leather (their words).I have had my eye on this bag for quite a while and when it went on sale recently, I went ahead and ordered it. I am so happy I did! This bag is just beautiful--the leather is thick, rich and substantial. I thought it might be the soft, floppy type of leather that lays almost flat, but it is not. It is also not a rigid box-like structured bag--it is just slouchy enough to be a perfect hobo bag. It has enough heft to hold plenty of items (good thing, too since it is so large) without stretching out of shape and is actually rather heavy even when empty. I can easily fit a full size wallet, a small cosmetic bag, a full size hair brush, a monster set of keys and cases for my regular eyewear as well as a pair sunglasses--with room to spare. The quality of the leather and the workmanship is evident and I know this will last many years. I purchased this in black (the leather is the type with a very tiny, pebbled texture) and the design is simple and elegant which shows off the panels (front & back) and the hardware is also beautiful. I like that the drop handle can be adjusted to various lengths. The interior of the bag is lined with dark cloth which makes it a little hard to see smaller items, especially since it is so spacious. There are no exterior pockets, inside is a zip pocket on one side and two open pockets on the other side. There is a key fob. I think it is just about perfect and it was a great price! My new favorite...
Very dumpy looking bag

The pictures looked so nice that I had to buy it and it was also a brand that I liked.However, when it arrived I was very disappointed. The nice rounded shape seen in the photos was nowhere to be found.Instead, it was a weird, dumpy looking bag that looked like a sad dark blobfish.I ended up returning it because I just could not see myself using the bag.
