My new favorite Vera Bradley bag

This has become my favorite purse ever. I've used Vera Bradley mailbags for years, but they were a slightly different style (I think they were the double zip mailbag -- Vera Bradley has several styles of mailbags, so be careful which you're ordering if you know you want a specific style). This is very similar to my old bags, but just a little wider and with two pockets in the back, one of them being at the top of the purse and sized to fit a cell phone. I love this pocket! It also has a hole where you could run a cable into the purse and charge a phone on a portable power bank if you wanted (power bank not included, of course). I found I love this pocket more than expected, makes it very quick and easy to grab the phone.
Not too big or too small...holds everything one needs to carry.

Perfect cross over bag...a place for everything and not too big or too small. Material may seem a little stiff to begin with but loosens up right away. Otherwise it would be too saggy baggy IMO.

I don't want to disparage this handbag because after a week's worth of wear on mine the stitching came out. That is atypical for this brand. It has a lot of pockets both zipped and not, and is a great cross body bag. More functional then aesthetic qualities. The fabric is heavy so if you are looking for a travel bag this may not be the one. Great for around town.

This purse is just perfect! I love that I can keep the strap short and carry it like a regular purse or pull the strap long and wear it as a cross body bag. It holds a lot or not so much if you want it to. I don't like carrying a ton of weight in a purse, I am so done with the 'mom purse,' but I still have kids, so when I do end up having to shove all their stuff in my purse, this bag will hold it. Everything is easily accessible and lots of pockets to organize everything, but there's not too many pockets, and all the pockets are useable. Some purses have all these little pockets that are useless, but not this one. The pockets/organizers are all well thought out and placed well. This is my second bag like this. I have another one in a print and this one in plain black.

This is great cross body bag. There are plenty of pockets and sections to keep things organized. It's plenty big enough to use as an everyday purse - and I carry a lot of stuff. I love the different linings that Vera Bradley uses, and the lining in this is a nice pattern. It is also light colored so you can see what is in the purse. My only complaint is the strap. The strap is too stiff and that makes it difficult to switch from shoulder to cross body. I'm not sure why VB uses such a stiff material on the solid color purses when the rest of the product line has more flexible materials. This purse is a 5 but loses a point for the stiff strap.

Liked better than I thought I would. Bought for a long wknd trip of sightseeing in DC. Ended up using it afterwards as my day to day purse. Wanted something with several pockets, large enough to easily hold a bottle of water. And I need a contrasting lining (not black). Prefer cross-body over backpack because I like to get in it a LOT throughout the day. Adjustable shoulder straps are nice (though I have always kept mine long). If this had only been available in a typical colorful paisley design, I would not have bought it. But the neutral black works fine with everything.

Perfect! Wanted something to hold my IPad in it's cover comfortably while allowing space for wallet, makeup bag, etc. This was a perfect fit. Was able to place the IPad in the front pocket to separate it from the other junk in my bag. That was my problem with my other bag. Everything fit but when I went to place the IPad in, it kept jamming on the smaller stuff in the bottom of my bag so I had to stick my hand in and move stuff around to fit the IPad properly. No issues with ths bag,Love it.

This bag is very well constructed and designed, with pockets that hold everything and that also maintain its slim silhouette. I love this purse. I've looked for a plain, cloth purse for two or three years and this is the first one I've found. I like it so well that I've ordered two more, to keep until the present one wears out, for what often happens is that I find an item I love and when I need to replace it, it is no longer available. This is one great purse!
