It looks good and gets the job done

As a mom of a two year old, I realized that my days of purchasing and carrying high-end bags are pretty much over for a while (daycare costs, dirty diapers, boogers). However, I was tired of carrying around my everyday diaper-bag-that-looks-like-a-purse. I needed a bag that looked decent enough to carry to work, but was utilitarian enough to withstand life with a toddler. I also needed a new make-up bag because I resorted to carrying mine around in a gallon zip-lock bag every day for the last 3 months. Enter this find. I ordered the black and red tote and here is my experience after nearly a week of use:Pros: It has a decent amount of space. It is large enough to fit my lunch, water bottle, a book, beats solo headphones, wristlet keys, phone and the make up insert; it will wipe clean; it is modeled after MK bags in style and in texture (on the black side only... more on this later) so it looks stylish enough to carry to work or out to dinner, but causal enough to handle everything that comes with being a mom. Also, I love the red color inside the bag and "gold" details on the tie. It gives the bag a little something that pops. The makeup bag has the faux leather textured trim and a poly material for the rest of it. It looks cheap (I am ok with this because make up bags get filthy) but it feels like a pretty sturdy make up bag. I can fit a LOT of makeup in there and I have room to spare.Cons: I get the feeling that I couldn't carry anything too heavy in this. When I had my lunch and water bottle in there, I was a little nervous that the weight might be putting too much pressure on the straps. The seller advertises that the bag is reversible. It very well may well be, but I was having a difficult time turning it inside out without creasing the material. Also, unlike the picture, the red side is not textured like the black side is. Furthermore, the straps are only sewn to the black side, so they will not show on the red side as is shown in the picture. That being said, if you are able to reverse this bag, I feel like it will just look like you are walking around with your bag inside out. Some of the stitching frays on the ends (I cut mine off to make it look polished, but it doesn't seem to affect the bag being held together.Other: I want to reiterate that this is not a high end bag. It was $22 and, to be quite frank, it feels like a $22 purse. BUT! It does what I want it to do-- it looks stylish, carries my stuff and cleans up. It does its job and that is all I could ask for. If you are expecting a high-end product, buy a high-end product. But if you are like me and looking for something that is simple and works for basic everyday use, I recommend this product. I am giving it 3 stars because it met my expectations, but is obviously not super high-quality.
Good tote for the price

I've been using this bag for a few days before reviewing it. I bought it in the black/red colorway because it very much resembles a certain designer's famous black and red tote that was popular in the fashion world a few years ago. Unlike the real thing, however, this bag is in my budget. There have been lots of faux leather "dupes" cropping up on Amazon and elsewhere within the past few years that are clearly inspired by the designer's original tote, but a lot of them are a slouchy style which I don't personally like. This tote bag on the other hand is structured enough to stand up on its own even when empty (though the material does seem to me to be a but floppier than the photos let on). I think this is as close as you can get to the style of the real designer bag without buying a counterfeit.As others have said, the "ties" are ornamental and don't actually tie, they just lay over the side of the bag if that makes sense. It doesn't bother me because I don't like the look of the ties (the designer tote this is inspired by doesn't have them), so I tuck them into the bag when I use it. The black side has a saffiano texture to it and the red side (which is a very nice, vivid red) is smooth. I don't believe that this tote was really manufactured to be truly "reversible" like the seller claims. It would just look like you'd turned your bag inside out. That's fine with me, I wanted a black tote and would never be tempted to carry this bag with the red side facing out. If you're considering this bag because you're dying to find a red tote, I'd look elsewhere. I think this bag is decently sturdy for what it is. Fill it up, but don't go overboard with it. I thought I wouldn't use the matching pouch that comes with it, but it's actually helped me stay organized when using the bag because the pouch is roomy and has one interior zippered pocket and two open pockets. I may continue to use the pouch, or I might find a matching red felt purse organizer. Overall, I think this is a stylish, tasteful tote bag for its price range. I'm pretty pleased!

Expensive Look

Iâve had this purse for a month now and I have to say I love it. I was very skeptical because I didnât want to spend that kind of money and for it to look cheap. Iâve had so many compliments on it and the quality is definitely good. A few people have asked who is the designer. I definitely recommend itâs more beautiful in person and the red interior is not cheap looking.

Itâs a really nice bag, stylish and simple. Holds a good amount of things. I use the pouch since the bag itself doesnât have pockets. The only thing I wish it had was a button or zipper to close the bag.

It's a great size for a large tote and great quality for the price and a great size tote, also love that it comes with a large zipper pouch as well. Note: Although it comes with straps there isn't actually a way to attach the pouch to the tote.

Great bag!! Looks great , holds everything, fits under airplane seat and best part is - you can simply clean it with a damp cloth . I have the black/red. I turned to the red side for Christmas! Will buy the brown/ lt blue. LOVE THIS BAG!!

This bag is great for the price. I use it as a tote for my life basically. Iâve had it now for 2+ weeks and have had no issues; itâs a durable, strong bag (especially for what I have in it). The look is also very classy. If youâre looking for a reasonably priced bag, I recommend this one 100%.
