for dorm rooms and futons only

This is a really ugly duvet cover. I like navy blue. I like white stripes. And we have a gentle nautical themed guest bedroom so I thought this would be perfect for that. But I didn't end up liking this at all.Out of the bag it had tons of loose threads. That's not a big deal. But they were everywhere so I picked as many off as I could. The rest will come out in the wash.I was a little afraid to wash it before putting it on the queen bed in the guest room to get a good look at it. It looks pretty fragile and the care label says to wash on delicate cycle. So I put it on a medium weight king sized duvet insert right away and shook it out to get a look. See the first 2 photos I provided for a look. What I like about it and what the stars are for: it has ties inside to tie to the duvet insert. This is key, especially on a king sized cover. I like that it is lightweight so it won't add bulk or additional warmth to a duvet making it easy to know which duvet to use with the cover for the time of year. It's also the size it claims to be, which is more than I can say for my duvet insert which is undersized by a good 8" in width. What I don't like. The fabric. It doesn't feel like cotton. It is weirdly crinkly on the underside. The closest I could describe the underside fabric would be poplin. Tightly woven but very lightweight, not see through. The top is weirdly stretchy. Seersucker should have some texture but I've never seen or felt seersucker quite like this. But it actually is cotton - the label says so and I did a burn test on some of the loose threads and they're for sure cotton. I also don't like the topstitching on the shams. It is poorly done which would be OK if it were in a matching thread but it's in a contrasting shade of blue. See the 3rd photo I provided for a sample of the topstitching.Bottom line, it feels like it won't hold up in the wash. The fabric is kind of icky. It doesn't look that nice. But it has the insert ties, it's the right size, and it is cotton and it is simply styled. I suppose it's a matter of taste and this isn't the right duvet set for any of the beds in my house.
Perfect for warmer weather

I LOVE this! My duvet was getting really hot for the summer, so I needed something that was light and still looked good. This fit the bill. Cute pattern, came as advertised, and fits well over my full-sized bed.A little on the thin side, so I'm not sure it would keep me warm during the colder days. I do hope this lasts me a long time. This + a sheet keeps me warm enough on cool days, or with my little A/C on.Would recommend :)
Pretty, soft, love the seersucker texture!

I love that duvet covers are getting easier to find in different fabrics, patterns, and budgets! ;-) This navy seersucker cover has a 'puffed up' look after laundering - and I love it! The fabric feels nice - not rough or pilling-prone - and is breathable and comfortable. I thought it might look too checkered, but it really doesn't. It looks simple and classic and is becoming one of my favorite covers in my growing collection!
If you dont mind a cover that looks wrinkled this one is a beautiful color.

This cover is a beautiful deep blue color how it wrinkles easily qhen washed and dried and the buttons dont stay buttoned or at least all of them.
Great splash of color in my bedroom

This is a great looking duvet cover that looks really good in my bedroom. The blue is much more relaxing when I crawl into bed at night than the bright white of the down comforter it's cover. I wish it were a bit softer, but it looks good and I've been sleeping great with it.
Well made, good fit and masculine.

These are good looking, though on the thin side. they fit our king sized bed pillows and duvet as expect. Well made with the inside ties you need to keep things in place. Looks good and has a bit of a masculine feel to it.
Not great quality

Didn't like the blue seersucker duvet at all. Feels cheap. Attracts dog hair like a magnet. Looks good in photos but it just makes your bed look like a mess.
Love the pattern

I was looking for a duvet cover that would not show the law prints of my favorite pet. This one works great. As a surprise the seersucker pattern is delightful.
