I returned my purse a mere two weeks after receiving when the strap broke (see pic). It came unsewn.So sad.. I love Vera. But apparently Vera no longer loves me :/
Strap coming off after one week

Love the bag, love the pattern, lobe that it has a million pockets BUT after one week of use the strap is coming undone.Iâm not rough with my bag and donât over use it.

After 5 months of regular use, the sewn side of the strap is coming apart. This is really disappointing since I've purchased several Vera Bradley bags over 7+ years and the others haven't fallen apart like this one.
Pockets Galore!!

Pockets Galmore! This is what I love about this purse. I carry a firearm and one of the inside pockets is perfectly positioned to hold my .38 so it is quickly and easily accessed should the need arise. This is my second Vera Bradley Mail Pouch purse and I haven't found another purse that fills the bill like this one does. Because of the weight involved, I did find that (with my first one), the strap frayed due to friction created by the weight. To solve this problem, I purchased a (pink) leather crossbody strap to replace the fabric one on my new purse. I also purchased a brown leather replacement strap to convert my original Vera Bradley purse. Minor alteration required to accommodate the second clip of the strap, however, that is easily accomplished by using a small piece of the original fabric strap and the metal slide that holds the original fabric strap in place. Granted, the clips on the leather strap are gold and the metal square ring on the fabric strap is silver but I personally don't find that to be a deal breaker.The colors in the fabric are wonderfully cheerful to me. It puts a little more spring in my step when I carry this purse which is everywhere I go. I'm not one for buying designer handbags or clothing but Vera Bradley purses are going to stay in my wardrobe! There is a place for everything and everything is (and stays because of the plethora of pockets) in its place! And, yes, I do have my CCH Permit.

I have been carrying Vera double zipper mailbags for years and I was really excited with the new colors / patterns that came out. I was just a little upset the style was changed up a bit. I do not feel I can put the same amount of items in this bag and instead of a magnet flap out front it is now a cheap snap. Over all I am a Vera fan for life and I will never carry any other purse

I read a review that said the VB quality had failed, but not on this Iconic Mailbag I just received!!!! It is well-made and perfectly beautiful. I found little extra areas I wasnt even aware of, like a secret slit at the top that opens up to hold my iPhone and cheater reading glasses. then stays closed and safe somehow. The compartments are roomy, close well, magnetic holders work, and the color just brightens my whole day. I heart this VB Mailbag, so happy I found it on Amazon, and on sale as well :-)
Gray design goes with everything

A great design in gray. The mailbag has so many efficient places to put stuff. I like the open pockets under the flap. So easy to get glasses and phone out without the hassle of unzipping. The zippered pocket on the opposite side is good for money purse and wallet. The long cross body shoulder strap is safe for shopping. Like a baby sling.

I like one strap bags as 2 straps always fall down on the arm while carrying on the shoulder.As with all Vera's bags, this one has plenty of pockets, plus a separate phone cubby.As with all Vera's bags being made quilted, this is soft and very comfortable to carry.

Love this bag. I have several Vera Bradley bags and this one is one of my favourite styles. I got it to take on a recent trip to England. Has a pocket for everything and I know just where to look. Carried the passports, tickets etc on our trip. You can not go wrong with a Vera Bradley bag especially if you love colour.
