Not typical Frye quality

The style of this purse is really nice, but the leather is not typical Frye quality. For the price I was expecting thicker , softer leather, but its paper crispy. The purse does not even have the frye stamp in the leather. Came with dust bag and had frye tags but without those it would look like any other cheap handbag.
