As stated in the product description, this bag is not leather. However, it looks classy, not cheap. This bag is made to be slouchy, which is a style that I personally like. It's not a stand-up type bag, by any means. But that's why I buy their bags. Their bags are wonderful for carrying lots of things ... The zippers on the front of this bag do indeed open up to usable pockets. Those front pockets open toward the center of the bag, separated inside, so they are funtional. I find they are great for my keys in one pocket, and lipstick, etc, in the other. The bag itself is definitely a roomy bag on the inside, which is what makes it so great ... I can carry my umbrella, a bottle of water, tissues, a cosmetic bag etc, and have room for more, if desired. The other pocket is the 'business' pocket ... billfold, important papers, etc. You could put an ipad in there, if you wanted, and have room. Within that pocket (on the back 'wall') is another small zippered pocket, which is perfect for medication, etc ... anything that you want to keep a little more securely. There's a pocket on the outside of the bag itself on the back, which is perfect for pens, mints, small comb, etc ... anything you want quick access to. If you get in the habit of designating certain things for each pocket, it really does save a lot of time. Although the pockets are large by design, I find that I have yet to have to 'dig around' in a 'black hole', trying to locate anything. You can keep everything in its separate pocket, and easily put your hand on what you need. This bag is the perfect size ... they sell larger sizes, but this one is perfect for what I use it for. I find that I can carry it on my shoulder without the detachable shoulder strap that comes with it. It stays up on my shoulder without slipping, and is easy to carry. I always love the decorative 'hardware' on the Scarleton bags, which is another reason I buy these. The first one I bought 3 years ago, and is just now needing to be replaced, because of normal wear and tear. This makes my 3rd purchase from Scarleton, and I've been happy with them every time!!

It has a hole in one of the big pockets. Its a pretty big hole. Big enough for coins or pens to fall through. That is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Other wise I like the size and shape of it and love the style. ******UPDATE******* I returned and bought a new one. I bought the same one. It did not have a hole. Love the purse and changed it to five stars.

I love this bag because it is (1) soft and pretty yet (2) it holds all my stuff. There are lots of small compartments in it (most of them with zippers) to keep all your items securely so you can find them quickly when you need them. The two large spaces are generous enough to hold the bulky stuff like wallet or card wallet, cosmetic bag, sunglass case, etc. It does have big silver zippers but they are easy to use.

Buttery soft and not stiff at all. Color is what I expected and it came with a detachable long strap. Big enough for my ten inch tablet. Lots of pocket space! Divided center so one side holds my lotion and other things I don't always need and the other holds my wallet and things I always need. No more digging around. Love this purse! Would recommend.

This bag is exactly what I expected. The ash grey color is perfect and the bag itself is very soft - no stiffness at all.. It appears to be made quite well. I don't expect any rivets or buckles to break. There's plenty of pockets for organizing everything from your cell phone, wallet, sun glasses and anything else you might throw in your purse. The size is just right for me although it is a little large but that's exactly what I wanted. Delivery was delayed by a day but of no fault of the seller. This was caused by the weather and the mountain passes be closed for 24 hours. I would order from this seller again.

Exactly as pictured. Material is soft and appears to be very durable. I specifically ordered this one because of the two large pockets so that I can keep my wallet etc separate from the odds and ends I need to carry for my son, plus it's great for work as I can fit a water bottle and lunch in it without it being too bulky. I would definitely recommend this bag

I love this bag. It has so many pockets and dividers. I also really love the long strap so it can be used as a cross body bag instead of a shoulder bag. It arrived quickly, and exactly as described. Only hitch, is the the long strap broke after being used regularly for a while. I reached out to the seller and they quickly provided a new replacement bag, that is holding up great. Normally i would have just given 4 stars due to the strap breaking, but I was so impressed with their service I couldn't bring myself to give them less than the full five.

Very well made, great size for a work bag or overnight. My last two bags broke at the strap and tore inside the lining within 4 months but I think this one will make it. I've had it a few months and use it every day and so far it has survived my rough handling and overloading it with no wear and tear so I'm pleased. I got this as a work bag but now I use it on weekends, too. It's slightly larger than a typical purse or hobo bag and has the removable cross body strap for comfort if I've got it loaded down. It's big enough to fit my small purse/clutch, my tablet or small laptop, and still have room for plenty of other stuff. The two compartments (which zip fully closed!) are great for separating things (I usually put my lunch and water bottle in one side) and it has a couple of inside and outside pockets for things I don't want to dig around for.

My beloved shopping purse died this season and I couldn't find a suitable replacement locally. I was skeptical about buying one online as I need it to fit some rigid parameters. It has to have a separate outside pocket for my oversized phone, 2 oversized center compartments with individual zippers that went the full length. It needed to be big enough to hold two water bottles but not so big that I can't find my lipstick. It had to be lightweight. It has to be convertible from a drop shoulder bag to a cross-body bag. It just had to fit. And this one did! My only dislike are the little accent metal balls that dangle on the sides, two by two so they clang together. I tied a loop into the and of one of the leather strings and placed its companion strong through so now they are tied together and no more clanging.

A little bigger than I though it was going to be but it's a beautiful purse with great detail. It has two large pockets that have one zippered pocket in one and then some top open pockets in the other. The two zippered pockets as shown in the picture do open for more storage. Also the back of the purse has another zippered pocket. I also like the color which isn't really scarlet but more like a grey with a slight purple tint that you really don't notice. The handles are long enough that I didn't need the extended handles but you do get them. I also like the fact that there are loops I can connect other things to them like my keys. Got this during a deal so it was really inexpensive which was one of the reasons I purchased it and the purse I was using had just broken. Overall I super deal and a great purse.

I just got this today to use as a mom purse. I was eyeing another purse but this one had good reviews from other moms and was $20 cheaper than the other purse.Itâs nice. However, i was suprised at how heavy it was even though it was empty. I assume itâs because its strong materials... better than the cheap purse I got from a department store for the same price range. Iâll have to be careful to not overfill it.

This is without a shadow of a doubt the best handbag I have ever owned. It is great quality, very classy looking, has lots of space (which I really like) and is very well made and feels so soft. I would highly recommend this handbag to everyone!

Just what I was looking for and more. It's so soft and comfortable on my shoulder, has lots of separate compartments to hold all my "stuff". Looks great too! Already had many compliments on it.
