I love the color and the leather is beautiful. But the grommets that connect the shoulder strap to the purse broke on BOTH sides. And I don't carry many items in my purse, so it wasn't heavy. I'm very disappointed with my past two HOBO purchases. I absolutely love the look of their products, but the quality is lacking. I got lots of compliments on this purse during the short amount of time I was able to use it.

I love the look of the purse but the stitching connecting the shoulder strap to the bag is already unraveling after only about 12 days of wear! Unfortunately Amazon reports they cannot replace, repair, or refund the item because it was purchased greater than 30 days ago. I will reconsider ever buying from Amazon and Hobo International products again!!!

Love this bag! I like the way it fits on my shoulder and it just allows me to reach in without taking it off my shoulder. I think the quality of the leather is great - soft and broken-in, but shiny. I also like the little zipper on the side - perfect for keys and metrocard, and easy to access. I like that the bag itself isn't heavy, so that I can load it up and not feel like it's weighing me down. And love the shade of green; it actually works well with a wide variety of outfits in place of a more traditional "neutral." **UPDATE - I just also bought this bag in basic black. It is so beautiful AND functional that I thought it was time to replace my old worn-out black bag as well. Couldn't be happier with this bag!**

Beautiful bag! Love the leather and silver hardware! It definitely feels like good quality. Two things though- it's smaller than I thought it would be! :( I would say this is a medium hand bag, I prefer a larger one. And sometimes it's hard to find your stuff inside because the top is narrower than I'm used to. Then other thing- the interior fabric was not what was pictured and I was disappointed with that! They showed this pretty blue floral and I got pink, orange and green triangles!! Only thing that saved that was the wallet I ordered to go with was the exact same pattern inside, so I got used to it. I still kept the bag though, despite those things, and love it!
Makes me feel rich!

Absolutely beautiful bag. The color as is described. The craftsmanship is superb and unlike the wallets; it doesn't get the scratch marks all over it. Looks like I'm going to have this one for a long time. If I had one comment; it would be that it's a bit smaller than I would have liked...but that's splitting hairs!

It's a really nice bag. I would not consider this a large bag I would consider it a medium bag but that it does hold a lot of stuff. I like the color of this bag which is pansy (med/dark violet) and goes with a lot of things I have to wear . I do wish that the straps were longer but I will not take a star off for that. The leather is very nice.
Leather is peeling off after a few months--I won't buy this again

I bought this bag in Hematite and it looked great for a few days, then the leather started to crack and chip off, so now it looks mottled, like it has black spots all over it. I had a different brand of metallic handbag, more of a gunmetal color, about half the price of this one--for over seven years before it started flaking, and then it was only on the underside of the strap where it rubs against my shoulder.This bag is flaking all over, and I don't even carry it every day. The leather even feels "prickly". I'm very disappointed in the quality. It looked great when I took it out of the box, but things went downhill very quickly. I won't buy another of these bags again.

I love HOBO bags, but I had to return this one because I found the depth of the bag to be a bit too deep for me. I would have a hard time finding things in it. Other than that, it's a beautiful bag, excellent quality as all HOBO bags are.
