The bag I received was not the same one as the photos displayed. Though it has the same print and physical description of the bag (pockets, size), I am very disappointed that the bag I have does not have the detailed embroidery and designs as the photo shows. My bag is lacking the studded inlays and the black beaded detail, as well as the "peace" button on the back and the red stitching on the "sakroots" logo on the front. Additionally, the strap is not as detailed with the same threading as in the photo.Buyer beware- if you buy this bag you may receive a more cheaply made version than what the photos market this product as. Personally, I paid for the brand name and quality of the bag - which I did not receive. The details are important, and I would not have made this purchase if I knew what I was really getting. I had high expectations from this brand, and unfortunately feel let down.

Absolutely LOVE this little purse. I prefer to carry a smaller purse and this is the perfect size... not too small but not too large. I can easily fit a small wallet, hair brush, mints, powder, floss in the main opening. Inside the main opening, there is a zipper pocket and 2 other pockets that allow me to place lip gloss bottles upright so that they are always ready to grab. There is an outside zipper pocket where I keep my iphone 7 and a car key. I've had this over a month and the quality is very good.

I bought this to replace one I bought a few years ago at a department store. They no longer carry this brand, so I ordered online. I LOVE my original bag, but the replacement isn't exactly the same. My biggest complaint is that the slip pockets on the interior are not gathered as they are in my original bag. I'm not sure if this is because Sakroots changed the bag, or if this one was made incorrectly. I'm going to keep it and give it a try, but the slip pockets are a bit too narrow to reach inside very well, and this may make the bag unusable.

My purse came today and although it's a little different from the picture, I was hoping it would be. See, if you look at old reviews of this purse you can find people complaining of the strap unraveling. I'm assuming the company updated this at some point and fixed that issue. At the same time (I guess?) they changed the design a small bit. So the purse I received does not have any of the beading on it, which like I said, I was hoping for.One thing that surprised me, which is totally on me as it's listed clearly in the description, is that this is uncoated canvas. I have other Sakroots items, mostly wallets, and they are all the coated canvas. Since this pattern is somewhat light colored, I just assumed (wrongly) that it would be coated to help protect it more. Oh well, it's still really cute and I'll spray it with some scotch guard type product and try to be careful with it in dirty locations. Oh, one more benefit of the new strap design is that it comes with a wristlet strap, which others had mentioned but no one had mentioned it for the navy purse. So yay! You get that too.

It's just the right size. It holds my wallet, glasses, lip balm, keys, etc., with room to spare. My Nexus 6P fits nicely in the front zip pocket, too. I'm not crazy about the short handle, it's a little rough on my wrist, but I had another black fabric one and just switched it out. I haven't tried it crossbody yet so I don't know how that will feel. The colors are very vibrant without being too much. I definitely recommend this one.

I love my purse. I've had it for half a year and it is holding up to daily use beautifully. This is a pretty small purse; holds my wallet, phone, and keys but couldn't hold a brush too. I get compliments on the purse frequently and people always want to touch it because of the material and how pretty it is. I can fit my iPhone in the front zippered pocket or I can put my keys there but I can't put both and still zip. The main compartment holds my phone and wallet and my keys easily but there isn't much room beyond that which I love.

I own a purse by Sakroots and love it, so I was excited for this new purse to arrive. I ordered the Navy Spirit Desert style, and when it came, I noticed there was absolutely none of the beading detail on it! The gold metal studs and the 2 rows of black beads near the top were missing. The "Peace" pin was missing from the back of the bag. Even the red string around the "sakroots" label on the front was missing. I contacted Amazon and they assured me the replacement would arrive as described. NOPE! Same thing. So I had to send back 2 purses because without those extra details, the purse just didn't appeal to me the same way. Bummer :(

I really like this purse. As a new mom it's so nice to just have my wallet and phone and a few other small things in this purse without having to carry a big bag. I like the wrist strap feature as I can carry my purse and still have my hands free to carry my baby or push a stroller. I find bags with shoulder straps fall off my shoulder easily especially when I'm carrying my baby in the car seat. I like the design on the purse and it seems to be pretty well made.

This is a great bag for day / evening trips when you don't need EVERYTHING in your big purse. Holds keys, phone, full size wallet, shades, and so much more. It's very roomy and holds way more than expected. It arrived early and is beautifully made. You won't regret this one!!

I quite like this handy size bag for those days when you want to travel light. The only problem is the strap is too short for me and non-adjustable. It sits in an awkward place. I'm 169cms tall. It would be great for a shorter person. It's a pity because I've had a small Sackroots bag before and worn it to death. Please bring back the adjustable wider stap that you had on earlier models of the mini cross body.
