I'm comparing CTG to similar strap from the brand "Beacone". For Beacone strap (item and rating), see ASIN: B07P5W9M5M.CTG strap is wider, smoother in texture and longer than Beacone's. The clasps are only slightly larger than those of Beacone's and because of that a little difficult (only a very little) to get through the grommets on the bag. This is the way I do it without marring the leather around the grommets: push the swing arm of the clasp against the grommet while inserting the hook part through the hole, then turn the clasp in the direction of the hook until the tip of the hook passes the edge of the bag above the grommet (the hole of the grommet to the edge of bag should be no more than 1 inch with 3/4 of this width being pliable material, on my bag it's leather). Otherwise, you should add a bag carabiner, like this: ASIN B06Y4B7YCN.Overall, I like this strap for its quality, texture and wear comfort. I only wish they came in light gold hardwares too.

The color of the strap I received is not as described in the listing. The strap is not brown + white, but burgundy + beige with a pink hue. The end tabs are not made of genuine leather, but synthetic material which smells badly. The tabs are not light brown or caramel as shown in the photo, but are pinkish red in color. The overall tone of the strap in person is very strange and I could hardly think of any bag of any color to go with it. I gave three stars because the overall quality of the strap is quite okay, although there is a frayed end on the stitching which I guess could be trimmed. The cotton canvas is thick and feels quite durable. The swivel lobster clasps look like brass and have a beautiful copper tone, though they are quite large and may be too heavy duty for some fine leather purses. If the strap came in other classic colors, such as red/white/blue or navy/sky blue or army green/beige, and has genuine leather tabs or no tabs, I would definitely consider getting a couple for my bag collection. I returned this one and the refund process was smooth and fast.

I purchased this strap as a replacement for a couple of other bags I already own. They were too skinny and cut into my shoulder. This one is two inches thick and feels great. Can be shortened to use for a shoulder bag or lengthened for a crossbody bag or purse. The quality is great and I foresee it lasting many years. Can't beat the price either!

I haven't used this yet, because the colors are very spring like, but the quality is really nice. I have another one in tan and red and have gotten many compliments.

This came unfastened twice the first time I wore it with my Brahmin. Both times I had taken it off and set it down. I don't quite understand what's going on there, but it's annoying. Otherwise, it's a nice, simple utilitarian strap.

I was so excited about using this strap on a Tory Burch handbag I have ... until I received it. Soooo disappointed that the colors in the advertised pics are far from reality. As you can see itâs burgundy with pinkish stripe. Worst of all, the leather-like piece is bright orange, not brown. Will be returning.
