Shoulder strap hardware failure

The bag looked otherwise nice, and I really liked it when it arrived. However, I had not paid enough attention to notice that it had arrived broken. Obviously the previous owner had returned it and it ended up to me, broken.The metal thing that connects the shoulder strap to another metal loop had been pulled through the joint. I only noticed this when I started to wonder why the strap did not 'spin' but got tangled.A little hard to explain, but I am adding two photos, hope they clear this up.Anyway, ended up returning this, since the one I got was broken, and now I don't trust the hardware.In one of the photos you see how the hardware in loose. In the other, this is how I received the bag: the hardware was just clipped to the remaining part, making it seem like it was OK.

Nice bag! It was a bit bigger than I expected but I'm very happy with the size as well as the construction. I do wish the handles were a bit longer due to difficulty placing on shoulder with a coat on but otherwise I have no complaints. I would buy it again.

What a beautiful bag! It's bigger than I thought it would be, which is even better. Two big areas inside with a zippered compartment separating them, plus extra side pockets and a zippered pocket outside. It's soft and comfy to wear on my shoulder. I bought the blue one, which is an outstanding color. Also, with all the extra space inside, I can easily fit my kindle in there when I'll be in a waiting room or at a park or restaurant alone. The zipper is nice and all the hardware is a light gold color that shines beautifully. I do recommend!!

I was really looking forward to this purse arriving. Unfortunately, once it did I was disappointed. The leather just looked cheap and made me unsure of how long this purse would even last.

Like the style and the color of the bag. Like that it can be used as an shoulder bag or not. However I did have a minor problem with the zippers they came undone a few times but tweeking the clasp helped. There is a slightly scent that came from the bag but I let it air out and it disappeared. Bag does hold lots of stuff and the leather is soft.

I thought the beige color was beige but it is not! the color is black and GOLD! Not crazy about anything gold except jewelry!
