As pictured, the color is in between a bright pink and watermelon red and it varies depending on the light. I compared it to the Kate spade website and it seems real!

It's perfect for me.... just the right amount of space and should strap hang. It's chic, lightweight and cute! I purchased the pink and thinking of getting the black (if the logo, zipper and lock was gold I wouldn't have given it a second thought). BUY IT!!

The bag is pretty and well-weighted.It's not a cheap bag, but it has bond marks on the underside.
