Oh where should I begin? The only positive thing about this product is that it fits as expected so I guess that deserves a single star. Now to get into the negatives: I open the box and the shoes look black. Like BLACK, with brown shoe laces. And since I hate returning things, I figured I could always use another pair of black shoes for work. I put them on for the first time last night and wore them to work. TWO hours into my shift (I have a desk job so it's not like I'm walking a lot), I go on my break. I'm walking and all of a sudden my foot feels weird. I look down and I see that I have NO sole on my shoe!! It literally just came off!! I looked behind me and lo and behold there is the bottom part of my shoe. Never in my life has this ever happened to me. I was so embarrassed and I had to leave work to go back home for another pair of shoes since these shoes literally fell apart. You HAVE to be kidding me!! This is the first AND the LAST time I will EVER buy shoes on amazon. Honestly, after these series of events that occurred in two short little hours, this product deserves NO STARS. When I got home, I went to take pictures to post for my review and notice that even the OTHER shoe was falling apart. For crying out loud, how does someone think it's okay to sell someone such crap?

Just got this shoes last month. Been wearing them for almost 3 weeks and it's falling apart already. They are both separating from the soles. Debating if I should return them or fix them myself. They are not worth the freaking price.

I have had two other pairs of these in the past probably 10+ years and they have ALWAYS been great shoes that lasted me years. I would wear them daily to work and am on my feet all day. The only issues I had with previous ones were the bottom of the sole would split and then in the rainy season in WA state my feet would get wet. That is the ONLY reason I would have to buy new ones after YEARS of daily use. These new ones they have changed the design or something as the back of them sit lower and I have been in pain wearing them. I could tell when I took them out of the box they were made different and was worried how they would feel on my feet. I can say after many days wearing them they are not comfortable like the other ones were. I am limping around work because of where the back of the shoe hits on my foot. Not happy with them but can't send back as I got rid of everything and well I need shoes to wear and I got rid of the last ones I had that the sole split on. Sketchers needs to go back to how these were made and fit years ago as these new ones suck. Also the laces on these can barely be tied because they are just way too short. Bad call on changing how these are made and the laces that are included.

Update: These shoes get less comfortable as time goes on. There is a spot that constantly rubs on the side of my big toe, part of the natural crease that forms from walking/flexing. The soles are wearing out already, as well, and I've only had them 6 months. Will not be buying these again.I need work shoes that are slip resistant and comfortable. These definitely fit that. I'm size 7, and that's what I ordered, and they fit perfect. If you have wide feet, or like a little extra wiggle room, you might want to order up.I will say, there is some glue visible, but since these are work shoes, that's not an issue for me. Shoestrings could also be a little longer, but whatever

After 9 years, my last pair just blew out and I was deeply saddened. Needless to say, I was delighted to know that they were still being made without having to pay the price of 'the other guy". So, I bought this pair. I still love them and the fit (as always with most Skechers products) was right on and hadn't changed. What I did notice was that thy are no longer as "heavy duty" as they used to be with a noticeable difference between the hard worn, ranch abused previous pair to the new pair, they were definitely much lighter. I hope they last half as long as the previous pair! And please, Skechers, please keep them in your product lineup! PS The round shoelaces absolutely suck. I actually pulled out the laces from the old pair to swap out. (The new ones are much too short and don't like to stay tied without a double knot).

I love this kind of oxford shoe with a nice heavy-duty sole & deep tread. I always have a pair of oxfords on hand, and they tend to be my favorite shoe to wear daily. One reason I like the style is because they're made generously wide & tall in the toe area, leaving me feeling less constricted, with less painful rubbing after hours of wearing. Plus I love having durable shoes with non-slip soles that I can wear in almost any weather without worrying about scuffs and damage. The solid feel to the sole helps my feet feel relaxed and comfortable walking.Over the years I've tried many different brands. The Skechers version is a bit more comfortable than the average brand I've tried. The insoles are more padded - not quite as much as I'd like, but better than others. I also wouldn't mind a bit more arch support, but I understand that I like more arch support than the average person. I can always add an insert if I like. But so far I haven't felt the need.The top edge around the opening is padded & doesn't rub. The size was a spot-on fit. I wore them all day the 1st time wearing them, and they were comfortable the whole time.As for appearance, they look high quality and just like the photos. I think it's a very attractive version of the oxford.

I tried a lot of brown oxford-type shoes before settling on this one. These are very chunky, but not too heavy given the look, and are reasonably comfortable. Pros: Sturdy and warm. Thick sole with good traction. Lighter than they would appear. Flexibility in sole for ease of movement. Cons: There is not much cushion inside the shoe, and no real arch support. The shoe is very deep with the ankle collar coming up pretty high - may be uncomfortable for some. The brown shoe is nubuck, not flat leather, which is harder to care for and doesn't last as long, I wish it were plain leather but I had such a hard time finding a shoe that fit me reasonably well that I will go with it anyway.

I bought these for work shoes (I work retail sales) because I've had great luck in the past with Skechers and I have very wide feet. Skechers typically has a wide toe box, and this was also true of these shoes. The fit was perfect. The sole started separating from the upper after about 3 months on one shoe. Then a large hole opened up right where the crease happens when you take a step on the other shoe. All in all, these lasted me about 4-5 months with some shoe repairs in there. Not the same quality as im used to with Skechers, I would rate them as 'okay' for a $50 pair of shoes.

Replacing the pair I wore out. Good colour, comfortable good quality. Had my last pair for probably 8 years or more. But couldnât find in half sizes here so I went up to 9 and threw in an insole.

I love the quality of these Skechers shoes. They look good, feel comfortable, fit as a 7.5 size shoe should. I wish the shoelace was a little bit longer as I find it hard to tie them up, otherwise a nicely made pair of everyday shoes.

Very 1st time ever ordering anything on line. I was very happy with the shoes, perfect fit and very comfy. I didn't have any problems with the laces being too short and the delivery was ahead of when first specified. I will certainly recommend these shoes.

I've had this same shoe for 15+ years and could never find a replacement until now! They last for years!!! Soooo happy to find this pair to replace mine (which I still wear on a daily basis after 15 years). They fit true to size and I love this new style even more than my old ones...so comfy!!!

Very comfortable. Would recommend. The laces are slippery little devils that like to come undone and not long enough to double bow but they are great for work.

Sketchers are ALWAYS my go to! I love these shoes! They fit as expected (I wear a 7 and ordered a 7). Nice casual shoe that I can wear to work in the office. Definitely recommend!

Great, solid design. Fit was a little large for an 8, but okay with thick socks. In the next re-design, hopefully they'll lengthen the tongue, because it's a bit short and the laces get caught underneath it too easily. Otherwise, a great shoe.

Love these shoes, bought them a few years ago and wore them everyday. I did not wear out shoes but insoles went flat in shoes and I couldn't wear them as they hurt my feet and then I couldn't buy them in Canada until this year. Thank you sketchers for bringing them back here, so comfortable and fit perfect.
