There is a lot to love about this Hobo bag. Pockets. SO. MANY. POCKETS. It's a delight to be able to organize all of my stuff, and actually be able to find the things I need, when I need them. The leather is smooth and matte, and looks fantastic. The deep red is gorgeous.The interior is 2 deep compartments on either side of a zippable insert in the middle of the purse. Sublime, and obviously designed by someone who has lived the frustration of having everything in the cavernous bucket of a non-compartmented purse.Even better, there are zippered pockets, on the exterior, on either side of the purse, and a small er, zippered pocket on the front. For an organization freak, this is nirvana.I love the attachable strap, as I am an over-the-shoulder girl.Which brings us to the one thing I don't like. The short handle is not removable, so it just kind of is in the way of getting into the big middle compartment. It's annoying, and such an easy fix. Just put clips on the strap. So I am contemplating just removing the short strap with scissors.Bottom line -There is a lot to love here. Fix that short strap and we have a solid 5 star product.
Poor design ruins what could be a great bag

This bag should have plenty of room to put things in it, it is designed to be able to carry many things and the bottom is plenty wide enough to do so, yet the carry handle/strap that you cannot take off makes using this bag to it's actual capacity impossible and it gets in the way when you are trying to put items in the bag or take them out...same with trying to zip or unzip it.The removable strap is the only one that is really useful. It is comfortable and easily long enough to sling the bag over your shoulder.The non-removable strap/handle (whatever you want to call it) takes a bag that could be really useful and makes it a pain in the butt to try to use.I just can't recommend buying this bag, I'd like to but I can't.
Strap gets in the way

I want to love this bag, it's cute and a great sized tote with plenty of storage and zipper closures however the small strap above the main zipper makes it so it is difficult to get in an out of the bag. It is almost useless and is frustrating that it isn't adjustable. There is a longer strap that works well for over the shoulder or even a cross body. The main zipper closure is also kind of sticky and doesn't zip smoothly.The color of the bag is a great light brown and the hardware is gold. Right out of the bag the purse has a pretty strong smell which seems to be fading as the days go by.I gave it 2 stars because it is a cute bag, just won't be one I reach for as much due to the strap issue.
