Plenty of pockets!

My main purse is canvas with sea animals prints, so I was searching for a more professional option when a friend came across this one and recommended it to me. The size and look were just what I wanted! It's large enough to carry work files and my planner. There are plenty of zippered an open pockets inside, which I love, a main zipper to secure everything from the top, and interestingly you can unsnap the entire liner--not sure what that's for, but it's always good to have options! Mine is just ever so slightly different in colour than the picture but still close and very nice. The long strap does feel more delicate than I'd expected, so I'll want to take care not put anything extremely heavy inside when I use it. The shorter straps are still long enough to loop around my arm over my shoulder, which is my preferred way to carry it anyway. I noticed other reviewers complaining about a bad odor, but mine smelled mildly like leather when it arrived, and now I can only catch a gentle scent if it's right next to my face.

This is a pretty purse and I thought it was well made. It's ok in terms of utility but the inside center pocket does get in the way. My main complaint however is the outside pocket-while it adds a bit of style it literally tore away from the strip it's attached to on one side. I applied no pressure while trying to take out my security keycard and a one inch section ripped away. It is stitched however not enough to keep from ripping. Very disappointed as I will not be able to use the pocket without it tearing away even more. I wouldn't recommend putting ANYTHING in there.

Like: I loved the color. It is very rich. The front pocket is very handyDislikes: I did not like the center zippered pocket when only one side was snapped in place. It was either both sides snapped at the same time or both unsnapped. This tote is definitely to be used as a professional bag as it holds files and notebooks wonderfully. The compartment can be totally removed to separate compartment from bag on an as needed use. If your looking for an everyday purse this is not the one but if you are looking for a work bag then this is wonderful use of a tote.Because of the snaps, the handles are not symmetrical on each side but not a problem. I wish they would make the snaps a two way snap where you could unsnap the compartment and remove or unsnap the handles and use the shoulder strap in place of.As far as the smell, no problem because of the known material/oil. It goes away fast when out of the plastic and shipping box.

I had this one for one week and I really like it. I have other ones with the same material, and they keep its good quality forever, you won't have wrinkles or stains or anything with this "leather". I do expect the the black glue on the bordes of the straps will detach after 6 months because that is what happened with my other bags, but that is something I can live with.The name of the product says is a messengar bag, but I dont think it is because the long strap doesn't look that strong to really hold the whole bag weight with stuff in it. I feel the width is not proporcionate to the rest of the bag.None the less I will use it every day for office.

This handbag is exactly what I was looking for! When it arrived, it did have a slight odor, but after letting it air out for a few days it was fine. My 13" MacBook Pro fits perfectly! I love it!

I have a very similar purse which cost more than 3x as much. I am very satisfied with this one, except it has an unpleasant smell. Leather usually has a wonderful smell that I adore, but not this bag. Makes me suspect it isn't leather.

Bag looks and feels great! Only reason for the 4 star review is the smell when received. Aired it out in my garage for a couple days and it was fine. It's great that the inside zipper compartment is removable to throw bigger items inside.

Nice size and straps are a good size. well made and nice finish. Ive rated it 4 because the colour is not exactly what the picture shows and I wanted it to match my boots which are Tan.
