the softest little dumpling! Impressed with the quality!

This bag is very trendy which is why I bought it. I got the medium size brown. Given the price, I expected it to be a little cheap-feeling but that is NOT the case. The material is incredibly soft, the stitches all look good, it's a delightful size and color, and it makes me happy! Given that the reviews are lacking, I was worried about the tone of brown looking cheap so I bought another similar bag from a different seller (whom I will not name but will also review) in "apricot" which turned out to be a bright vanilla color. I'm happy to report that the tone of brown is actually quite nice. It's slightly lighter than the color of Native Coconut deodorant so I've included that in the pictures. Despite having just about the same price, there are several differences between these two bags that I'd like to highlight but TLDR: This one is the winner.Style: While the listing pictures of these kinds of bags are often less than authentic, the brown one looks closest to the online pictures. The white one differs from the pictures in that the opening area on top looks quite different. My boyfriend thinks this looks like the piranha plant lips from Mario and I agree. I much prefer the look of the folds of fabric all coming together because I think that looks like a dumpling. The bottoms are also quite different. The brown one is gathered in the corners to make it look more slouchy while the white one has something like a flimsy little piece of cardboard poorly sewn in the bottom that I believe is supposed to give it shape? I don't know how since it's so flimsy and only sewn through the center so the corners move around freely. Still, I think the white one has a fatter profile because of this when it's empty which personally I don't prefer.Fabric: The brown one is the same uniform leather material inside and out, including the strap. The vanilla one is made of a similar material though not as soft and the inside is a cheap black material with a single zippered pocket on the side. Some may really appreciate this pocket from a utilitarian point of view but, for me, the cheap material isn't worth having a pocket. (I'd rather it be white leather inside so I can post What's In My Bag pics like Rosie Huntington-Whitely lol)Size: Dunkin Gift Card included to express size. The brown bag was intended to be a size medium while the vanilla bag should be small. In real life, they are incredibly similar in size, but have different structural architecture especially at the bottom. The straps on both are pretty much the same width.Opening: The brown bag has a small brass hinge that's visible when you open it and the magnetic closure is a little weaker than I'd like it to be but so far that hasn't been an actual problem. The white bag is not magnetic and a much larger portion of the silver metal hinge is visible when open. The hinge is a very unique design that reminds me of an old lady contraption. It's actually incredibly difficult to open and close and it SQUEAKS. On one hand, the magnetic closure of the brown one could be less than secure but on the other hand, the white bag is a pain to open so make of that what you will.Quality of details: The brown bag has an advantage over the white here because the stitching is much cleaner. In person, the bag actually looks better than amazons pictures in that regard which baffles me. They also covered the ends of the straps with something to make it look fancier whereas the white one left the strap ends uglier.Smell: Neither bags smell very strong but if you really sniff the inside, they have the exact same scent. It's hard to describe but it reminds me of my father's fishing tackle box. I'm confident it will fade over time and it's not an issue for me.In the end, the bags are each a little different and while some may appreciate the features of the vanilla one, I believe the brown one is better in every way. For some reason I cannot figure out how to add pictures to my review but Iâll keep trying over the next few days

Really nice dupe! The faux leather is great qualityâsoft, grained, not shiny or plastic-y. It looks high quality and fairly realistic. Stitching is nice and even, and the ends of the straps are nicely and cleanly finished.I ordered both the cream color and the light brown. Both are nice neutralsâthe cream has a touch of pink/grey/nude, so itâs not stark white or too yellow. The brown is a nice tan/brown/caramel, not too yellow or too dull (brown faux leather can easily skew cheap). I tried the medium and large to compareâlarge wasnât comically large, but Iâm only 5â5 and slender, so medium was perfect for my needs.Really happy with the quality, especially for the price! I ordered a chunky metal chain strap from Etsy to recreate the chain shoulder bag version.
Fifth one is a keeper

I actually purchased and returned four other dumpling bags from Amazon. This is the fith, and the keeper. I learned from each purchase. One did not have such a soft nice color white/cream color. It was stiff and I did not like how wide it was on the bottom. The bottoms of some of these have a hard bottom tht makes the bag kind of wide and bulky. I realized I wanted a smaller bag. Another I purchased has a big lip that I did not like. One was nice and soft pu like this one, but it was heavy. I also purchased a similar one that said "genuine leather" in cement color. The color was awful and did it not seem like real leather, but also too heavy. Finally I found this model. It shows a narrow width. That is because it does not have the hard flattened bottom. The PU leather is buttery soft and the cream color is just right. Although the width shown is narrow, that is just the closed width with nothing in it. it opens up wide and you can fill it up. Because the medium size in not extremely deep, I don't have to worry about stuff getting lost inside. The inside is also soft PU leather. There are no internal pockets. And it is lightweight. So this darling bag is the keeper!
Animal Print is shiny & no straps

Iâm super torn! Got the animal texture in Small (only size available). Itâs superrr cute, able to fit my 8 plus phone...but Iâm not sure I am a fan of a shiny clutch?All my clutches are matte & idk if the shininess looks tacky/cheap? Itâs very soft, the magnet is strong & I love everything else about it!I am giving it five stars because the shininess is just a personal preference, has nothing to do with the quality.Totally thought it would come with straps, so I could wear as a small crossbody, but no straps :(My bad, as their picture clearly shows itâs only a clutch & I missed that.I did ask if they would offer this in a medium or large, since itâs only a clutch. But now Iâm thinking, maybe the shininess is less tacky, the smaller it is?I have included one photo against my hand and a video!

I was hesitant, but wanted a cute little bag that would carry me through summer and that I could possibly use in other seasons too. I purchased this in the small size in the brown/tan color. First, I was happy that the bag came nicely packaged in a dust jacket for protection. When I removed it, the fabric felt impossibly soft for faux leather and I couldn't believe how high-end it seemed. I was worried maybe the small wouldn't be big enough for my needs. But due to the shape of the bag, I found I could fit two face masks, my phone, a compact hair brush, a small face mist, hand sanitizer, my wallet, and a few small cosmetics (and honestly I probably could fit a few more things in it). LOVE the easy magnetic closure, hopefully it holds up over time! Totally loving this cute trendy little bag! :)
