Beautiful and well crafted

This bag is gorgeous, the leather is supple and soft yet capable of staying upright. The inside is spacious and has ample pockets/zippered areas for organization and storage. When I opened up the package it shipped in, there was a very pleasant smell of rich, high quality leather.FYI the picture shown does not reflect the color well. It leans much more towards green with a hint of blue than turquoise. This could be due to screen resolution, lighting or natural variations in the leather but either way it is a marked difference. Even the pictures I took of it outside in the sunlight make it look much bluer than it is in person. For the one I took indoors I put a blue clip on it to try to show the difference. While I really wanted a true turquoise bag I'm so happy with the quality and price that I'm happily keeping it.

Absolutely fantastic! I am super happy with my purchase. Super quality craftsmanship, very roomy, practical design, yet very stylish. Real, soft leather. Versatile and sturdy shoulder strap.The bag is darker in person, but it's such a rich, gorgeous teal color. I'm in love with it. I actually love the side zipper pocket side more than the front, but both sides are beautiful. Very roomy - fits all my stuff and still has room for more. I put a 31 pocket in the middle to organize my junk, but the inside pockets are also a huge plus. All the zippers work well and smoothly open and close. I put my Samsung S9 in the outer pocket standing or lying on its side.Lots of pictures, including unboxing.Have had it for a week and very satisfied with it. Will update review in a few months.
Disappointing Poor Quality

Very disappointed. I tried my hardest to like it because I was shopping for a nice red bag for a while but couldn't find one that I really liked. This bag looks and feel so cheap. It doesn't even remotely feel like leather. I decided to keep it in the hopes that it will eventually look better over time. But I would not recommend this bag to anyone. The quality is very disappointing esp for the price. I just ordered another bag of a different color for a little less than half the price and I am extremely pleased with it. It's not even leather but it would pass for leather much quicker than this one would.

Truly beautiful bag and very well made with gold hardware. But it is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the olive color shown. It is a very dark forest green. And I'd have preferred it was shipped with stuffing in it instead of flat. I am considering keeping it because it is incredibly well made and still a beautiful bag but, for the price, I'm extremely disappointed its not close to being a color match, especially having been extremely disappointed the teal/turquoise color sold out. This is so dark I can barely tell it's a green at all, so buyer beware.UPDATED now that I've been using it for a week, I can forgive the color difference. Though I would still love to see a "real world" photo of the bag represented in the listing, and not just the white backgrounds, the bag is truly well made and feels luxurious without weighing a ton like other leather bags.
Gorgeous leather

This is a quality leather purse. The olive color is rich and changes color in different light. The color ranges from a dark green almost black, to golden green and finally to an emerald green. I really like the two zip pockets on the inside and where they were placed. I like that the large zip pocket is not directly in the middle but more on the on side with the other zip pocket, which creates a nice pocket as well. I also like that the long strap has a cloth lining so when you put it on your shoulder it does not slip. Highly recommend! Definitely would purchase from La Poet again.

I was very hesitant to order this purse, because I typically carry more expensive designer purses, but I loved the color so much I thought I'd give it a try. I'm sooooooo glad I did. Not only did the purse arrive within 24 hours, but the quality of it is awesome. The purse I was carrying was a $600 Tory Burch bag, and let me say that the quality of the green purse is just as good if not better. The extra zipper pockets inside and on the outside of the bag are great, and it holds a lot. The straps are comfy or I can carry it with the handle. I've only been using it for 2 days and I've got tons of compliments on it. I LOVE it!!! You won't be disappointed if you order this purse!
Unhappy costomer

I was so excited when I placed my order for this green bag as this was a birthday gift for me. The bag did arrive as expected timewise. The company sent 3 emails to check on the progress and made themselves available for questions/concerns. I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of this bag upon opening the box. It arrived as if it had already been in use. The color is not the bright green as shown but more of a cooked English pea. Not happy with my purchase and will return asap.

This purse is gorgeous and well mae. It's exactly what I wanted. It's large enough to hold my laptop, a book, and a light jacket when I'm traveling, and yet without those items it's still a reasonable size for everyday use. I really appreciate the webbing on the backside of the shoulder strap. It matches the color of the leather really well, and it'll help the strap last longer, since it gets so much wear and tear.
