Doesn't compare to the old Ultrascendor

I played tennis for over 20 years and discovered the K-Swiss Ultrascendor tennis shoes which had the best fit,was long lasting and stylish. I continued buying this model even when I quit tennis and just used them for walking until they recently discontinued them. Boo-hoo....tennis magazines say this model (Hypercourt Express LTR) comes closest to the Ultrascendor, which I disagree. This model feels cheaper both on the upper part of the shoe and I usually bought a size 7 and this was too small, needed to go to a 7 1/2 if I kept them. They padded the interior more but cheaply. Doesn't compare.......have to find a new walking shoe....

I have had 3 K-Swiss tennis shoes previously in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. Consequently, I thought it safe to buy them on line. For some reason these were too small. It cost me $17.50 to return them. Probably won't buy shoes on-line again.
Too Small

Love KSwiss shoes and have had several pairs over the years. The size 10 I ordered would be perfect except that are too short!!! Have worn them several times and am in tears by the end of the day. I'm now stuck with a 150.00 dollar pair of shoes that I cannot wear. No option available for size 10.5. Compared them to current pair I have and they are a good 1/2" shorter!! I actually wear a 9 1/2 shoe so there is no excuse for this. I was willing to pay the price for these shoes as they are comfortable, supportive and long-lasting but I guess they have gone down the road of saving a penny or sending manufacturing to crap China. Never again!!

I wore K Swiss Ultrascendor tennis shoes for decades. The Hypercourt is a cousin of this shoe. The toe box is a little tight and the shoe lacks the overall support and comfort of the Ultrascendor. You might call it a distant cousin. Underwhelmed with the purchase and may go back to Babolat shoes or try another make.If anyone at K Swiss is listening, please bring back the Ultrascendor. It was a great tennis shoe and Ithis is not a replacement.
Too stiff

The sole of these shoes do NOT bend. The stiffness makes it feel like I am stomping around. I wear exclusively KSwiss shoes but will not buy this type again.

I was hoping to find a comfortable tennis shoe. I'm a competitive 5.0 player and these shoes ran on the small side. I typically wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and my toe was at the end of the 8 1/2. Good room in the toebox, but the shoe was stiff. I am returning them and going to try the mesh version.

I bought these because K-Swiss discontinued the Ultrascender 7.0 that I had worn for years. These fit great right out of the box. They provide great support on the court.
Not as wide as non-leather version

Well made, but fit seemed more narrow than the non-leather version of this same shoe. Love the non-leather version.
