Badass Comfy- but buy your high heel size, not boot size

Pros: They look as badass in person and on as they do in the picture. They're just a little higher heeled than my old pair of high-heel boots, but not like those heels that you immediately want to take off. You have to walk in them like you're wearing high heels, which adds a bit to the badassness, but they aren't uncomfortable.Also, the lacing and the encircling straps are adjustable in size, so these are great if you're worried about if a boot will fit the girth of your calves. So these are great for people with thin calves as well as those with thicker calves. They adjust great for all.Minor Cons: Putting on/taking off; slippery back heel; smelly1) Putting them on or taking them off takes a little bit more time because the straps that loop around have to be undone in order to get them off or onto your feet. However, there's a zip on the side, so you don't have to lace and re-lace. Therefore, I would say it takes about the same amount of time as boots that you have to lace and unlace every time to get your foot into.2) The back heel (as other reviewers have noted) is just a tad bit slippery. If the fit is snug, this shouldn't be a problem. But if you step a little on one side, you could feel a slight slip in your step. This should be fixed by either having a tight snug, an expert stride, or scruffing up the back heel a bit as happens with normal wear. Just be a bit more cautious on slippery surfaces like the floors at department stores.3) They are definitely smelly when you first open them, but after 3 days out of the box, it's pretty much gone. I don't know what these are made of, but I know that the process of making real leather is a smelly business, so I was fine with this seeing as how the smell is pretty much gone now. Tip: Don't store these in boxes or something that will lock in the smell. It will go away on it's own.My biggest Con(cern): Sizing and FitI normally wear a size 6.5 high heels, but a 7 in boots and sneakers. I ordered a size 7 because I knew I would be wearing these with socks. Other reviewers have said these boots are narrow. My feet aren't wide and I never have to buy wide shoes, so the width was perfect for me. However, because of the length of this boot, I should have gotten a 6.5. There's also quite a bit of vertical space inside the boot for your foot. There's quite a bit of room between the top of my toes and where they touch the top of the boot, so when I set my foot down, the top of my foot isn't touching the boot, and when I lift my foot, it lifts off the bottom of the boot a bit. This means that when it's really cold, I can fit in really thick socks no problem. However, this isn't what I would intend these boots for since that level of cold I associate with slick walking conditions, and wouldn't wear high-heeled boots with anyway. Even with them being .5 too big and that extra vertical space inside the foot encasing, I wore them the first time all day and they were comfortable and looked great.Conclusion: I would recommend you purchase the size you usually get for non-sock-wearing heels. If you are typically wide-footed, be much more cautious.Final tip: When you first get them and put them on, do it one boot at a time so you don't forget which encircling strap goes where. They're entirely detachable so if you detach both before a boot is completely put on (the first time) it's easy to forget how the encircling straps are supposed to go.

Love them! They were slightly lose but they fit as expected. Also there is a fishy leather smell but to fix that. Mix white vinegar with water spray and wipe the outside then put baking soda in the shoes put them in a bag and leave over night then just use a vacuum to get it cleaned up! As someone who doesn't wear heels often they are easy to walk in comfortable and the grip on the bottoms of the shoes make it so you don't slip and slide on certain floors. I walked in the grass and the heels didn't sink in the ground. All in all I'm really pleased. Also the studded straps come off which is really cool.

These bottos arfe AMAZING. Despight the reviews you might read there is NO bad smell and I think they ARE leather. They are SUPER COMFY! And I have a metal ankle and do not wear heels anymore but these do NOT make you feel like you're walking on stilts. Somehow my foot feels even and I can wear all day with no problem. I get A TON of compliments on them and my 17 yo daughter is begging me for a pair - she said tey made me look hot! LOL she usually doesn't say my shoes atr hot since I live in riding boots that are flat or Chucks! HA. Getting her a paid for Christmas. They do make me feel hot and look great with jeans and skirts and leggings. I can wear all day and NO PAIN in my ankle!!! They work for casual or dressy! THESE ARE GREAT! You don't need to undo the buckles to slip them on and zipper so they won't wear out at all. LOVE!!! Did I mention I love these? If you are wondering if you should get them... GET THEM! You won't be sorry!

The women's brown/tan boots are comfortable and versatile because the leather studded belt can be removed. They tie relatively easily though it takes a bit of getting used to. They look a little wider on arrival and do not look as tight and narrow as some of the pictures. However, once I wore them and laces were tightened they looked better. The heel is slightly shorter than the rest of the boot but it is not noticeable when walking. They are surprisingly comfortable and look great. I was concerned about the comfort because I do a lot of walking but they have performed fine. I am happy with the look and my order and I recommend.

LOVE these boots! I wear size 11, ordered 11.5B and there's a little extra room, but they are very comfortable and look great. Others have commented about the smell. It's pleather, what do you expect?? It's not bad and will go away as you wear them. I'm 5'10" and I love the heel height, much more comfortable than I expected to walk in. Also they ship from China, so tracking is difficult. I contacted Leanna, the Seller, and she was able to find them for me when I got worried they were going to get stuck in customs, but they arrived TWO weeks earlier than expected!

These were comfortable for the very first minute I put them on. They look incredible with skirts & dresses of just about any length, skinny jeans and leggings.The buckles work and I have to unbuckle them to get them off and on with the side zipper. My only issue, and it's so very minor, is that I can't seem to get the straps buckled back on the same way every time. The boots look great anyway so that's really of no consequence.As long as one makes a modicum of effort to take care of these, they should last you a decent amount of time.
Would buy again if well put together.

Came on time toe area is small and goes over the foot stuff. So ur basically walking on a small cup under ur feet you must need excelent balance to wear these as its hard to walk in. Must wear foam feet pads inside as it feels like your walking on cold hard concrete in them. Wear socks too. Well built until adjusted for a better fit the shoes come apart if they get fitted to tight and get wet. So buy a pair a size or 2 larger for a better fit and less shoe problems. Other than this love the looks has taught me to be more balanced on highheels and keeps my feet warm. Love them but cant wear them.

Actually arrived ahead of time, the person they were bought for often has difficulty wearing anything with a heal, and these were comfortable for Her to wear! All in all they are constructed well, and fit well, what more does one need to know ?
