Love this shoe

I have a hard time buying dress shoes. I'm a 60+ woman who goes for comfort and these fit the bill to a T. Very comfortable. Fit is perfect and the big heel (not height wise but in diameter) makes this an easy shoe to walk it. Shoe is very well made.
A Great Heel for Someone Else

I am a late-twenties corporate gal with a fondness for what my girlfriends call "old lady shoes". Unfortunately, these shoes are a little too old lady for me.First off, where the strap comes across to attach to the outside of the shoe and you see a button there? That's attached using hook and loop (velcro). It's not a real button, and I feel like you can tell looking at them in person. This explains to me what other reviewers meant by "they're adjustable" in that you can tighten or loosen the strap depending on where you attach the velcro. I really don't like the velcro, however, (as will be the theme behind all my feedback) for some people, the velcro is probably a god send. As a result, they are much easier to put on than standard Mary Jane style heels which require fiddling with the little clasp. I imagine for someone with arthritis in their hands, this gives them the style they want without the extra work and pain to put them on.Next, the fit: I am a 6 Wide in heels and that's what I ordered here. In fact, them offering a 6 Wide is a big part of why I bought these in the first place. They are cushion-y and comfortable, with plenty of room for my toes, but they are actually somehow too wide. I've never had that issue before. But again, for someone who has bunions or often battles swollen feet, these are probably fantastic. For me, I might be able to wear them by pulling the strap real tight to prevent sliding/movement when I walk, except for the next point:These heels wear like clogs. They're chunky and slightly heavy and the heel is as wide as the shoe itself. The tread is thick. Compared to my Earth Shoes Mary Jane Wanderlusts that I've worn out after a year and a half, they're like wearing clown shoes. But again, these features are fantastic for someone who may have balance issues or who may need extra grip or support in their heels. For a young woman who likes retro styles and some comfort, this is not at all what I was expecting to get.Tl;dr - I was looking for old lady style/retro style heels for my corporate job that are comfortable. I got heels designed to help and support old ladies who still want to look good. The shoes are great for a certain audience, but not what I was looking for. I will, regretfully, have to return them.

Comfortable, adjustable and cushioned on the inside. Durable and well made. True to size, but would not recommend if wide feet or wide heels. I have narrow feet and heels and it just fits which is perfect because usually other shoes give blisters while breaking in, but not these. These fit perfectly. The base is durable and shock absorbing almost like dansko clogs. This is also great as my job requires a lot of moving around and with these shoes, I'm comfortable, not sore.

These shoes are cute and comfortable! Being disabled I usually just wear walking shoes or slides, but for times when I have to dress it up these shoes are perfect!

GREAT shoe, fits perfectly and tailored to foot throughoutâhugs the back of heel with no gaping, toe box shape contured so no rubbing. Cute and comfy, and stylish enough for this 39 yr old professional who likes to think sheâs still hip and fashionable ;-) Measured my foot for the perfect fit (9.5M) and glad I did since I usually order 10 in most shoes. These shoes are a little on the Narrow side, as my feet are Narrow on Left and Medium on Right and the Medium fits similar to N. Overall a little tight feel at first due to being REAL leather, but once broken in (within a day) it fits like it was custom made. Wish Iâd knew about this brand a long time ago when Iâd work 14 hour days on my feet. Extremely happy about this purchase.
Comfortable shoes

I like the way they look and fit. Itâs hard to find comfortable shoes for my feet (wide at the ball and narrow at the heel) so that was really great. The part that disappoints me is the rubber heel is hard and a bit slippery. I was hoping it would be a bit softer and shock absorbing like my Rockport shoes.

I have worn these several times and love them. I usually get very supportive shoes from a brand that starts with a "V". But, those can be quite pricey and when I needed a new pair of dress shoes I didn't have the budget for the expensive ones. These shoes were perfect because they were budget friendly while still providing the support and comfort that I desire. Plus, they are really cute and classic looking. As for the band that goes over the bridge of your foot that is kept in place by velcro not a snap or buckle. I personally have not had any problem with that and it's held up to lots of walking. Just figured I'd include that in case anyone was curious.

8.5 length is like earth origins Meredith 9. Extra wide width is indeed wider than Meredith's 9 wide. Material is not very breathable in warm temperatures. Heel is quiet, sole has a bit of a sound on hollow surfaces but both are perfectly silent on sidewalks and other thick hard surfaces and there is good traction on both sole and heel. closure is in fact Velcro and the snap button design is pure decoration. strap is elasticized on the inner shoe attachment and it feels very flimsy compared to the rest of the quite stable shoe structure. If the closure were not Velcro but real button or buckle style, it would be absolutely wonderful.
