They may stretch out and loosen up some, but they are very tight and stiff. I normally wear size 5 or 5.5, but I'd really recommend ordering a size up, and if your feet aren't really narrow order a wide.
Not what I hoped

These look to be made reasonably well, but I found them to be slightly narrow and uncomfortable as casual shoes. I was hoping they would be comfortable like the cheap Mexican huaraches I used to live in all summer (hard to find nowdays!), but they just aren't.
Broke after two wears

I actually really liked these shoes. I have actually purchased these same shoes before from this seller. They lasted about a year before one of the straps on the toe area pulled away from the sole. The problem with this new pair is that the strap pulled away from the sole after wearing them twice for a few hours. Returned them for a refund. Very disappointed since I really like this type of shoe. It was easy to slide off and on.
Size 8.5? More like a 7!

Had to return them, as they were over an inch shorter than every other pair of 8.5's I own. WAY too small. Other wise, they seemed well made, attractive, good width, and comfortable, but the size issue was ridiculous!

Wore these right out of the box. Softspots 'were' consistently well made and comfortable.Had these for over a year now, rarely worn. Still look brand new. Soles clean. Leather Good. Insoles look brand new.Shoes fell apart. Woven straps came unglued on both shoes.Cute comfortable shoe but won't buy again.
Way too small, size up 1/2 size and get wide width!

I saw everyone complaining about the shoe being both narrow and too small. I have average feet and have never needed a wide width before. I went with my regular size (7.5) in double wide. Everyone is right, the shoe is not long enough. My toes go right to the end (thanks to getting the double wide, I suppose) but even so my heel is really right at the acceptable limit of the back of the shoe. I would suggest people get at least 1 width wider than usual AND size up a half size. All that being said, the shoe seems comfortable and is pretty cute.
Couldn't wear them as planned

I love the way these shoes look, but the leather was uncomfortable against my skin. I had planned to wear them as summer sandals without socks, but the leather rubbed against my skin and I could see how they'd cause blisters. Not a soft leather.

Not sure yet and will update soon. Just received these today. They are very cute, look just like the photo and the seem to be very well made. I normally wear a 9M and based on reviews, I order a 9.5, which seems to be my size in this shoe. I want very much to like these and keep them, but I feel several ârub pointsâ and I get blisters easily. The inside strap on the right shoe rubs, the outer strap on the left shoe rubs. Maybe I lean :-). In addition, the toe box isnât quite high enough for my large toe, but Iâm hoping this gives after a while. The shoes were much more comfortable when I put a no show sock on (I recommend Sheec, by the way) but of course the heel and sides of the sock show, and this made the toe a tad more snug. I could buy a heel-less sock but the sides would still probably rub. I really needed a white, closed toe sandal and so far havenât found any that work. Iâm going to try to make these work, and Iâll report back. By the way, I think many people can wear shoes like this without socks and have no rubbing problems. I can hardly wear ANY shoes without socks.
