Run small at where your heel meets the insole

There really are nice shoes, it's too bad there is a problem w/fit. I am ALWAYS a size 7 for open back/mule style shoes. However, when I put these on my own heel went over the back and sides of the insole. The front part of the foot slipped into the shoe and fit like a charm, so, overall they do not run small or narrow. It seems the rear of the shoe is just cut to narrow and stopped too short. I have put in a return request, which the seller has to approve.Also, the pic of the Cognac has a red brown look, the shoe I received is more of a dark tan, which I was OK w/if they fit correctly.UPDATE : the seller will give me a refund if I bear the cost of returning the shoes. This is my response to that-This shoe is not made correctly and your return policy should include provisions for your accepting full responsibility for costs incurred when selling a defective item. There was no feedback on AMAZON for this shoe, I was the first to purchase. If someone had warned me about it being mis-constructed where the heel of the foot meets the insole I surely would not have ordered them. As I am the guinea pig for AMAZON customers for this shoe, you should be playing nice, but, you chose not to. I hope both AMAZON, and any future customers who consider buying from you, keep this fact in mind if they consider doing any future business with you. All you had to do was build the shoe correctly, but, whoever you had do that didn't, so, you want AMAZON customers to help defray the cost of your and their mistake. Shame on you.

I am a true 9.5. I bought a 10 and these fit too perfect to the point that my heel sat atop the lip in the back and my toes were a hair off hitting the ground. Returned them at my expense and thought that buying an 11 would make them better. NO!!!! They fit the same way in length as the 10, only this time they were just loose and wide around the foot nearer to the ankle. Sadly, to be returned at my expense again!!! Amazon should do something about this!!! Wonderful colors. There are no other shoes in these great colors that are reasonably priced. These shoes were originally $69. I bought them at $39. Now they are down to $19. That should tell you something. Everyone keeps returning them. â¹

theyâre beautiful BUT iâm a true 8.5.. and these are not true to size. giving them to my sister who is a 7.5. if youâre looking to buy, size down.

I didnât expect the leather to not be real. The material felt almost like plastic! But it looks like leather. The color looked more like burnt orange rather than a deep raspberry red.
