Inaccurate description

I have bought several pairs of this exact shoe, and with no change to the listing or web page, Sperry changed the construction of this shoe dramatically. It is pictured as having it's traditional leather insole (bottom image), instead it now comes with a memory foam insert and is lined in an itchy, and very hot felt (top image). In addition to being incredibly uncomfortable, I can't imagine the felt would hold up well when it gets wet... which is somewhat important for a boat shoe. I contacted support to see if there had been a mix-up in fulfilling the order and was told that this was the current style, and there was no way to ensure I got the traditionally constructed shoe, as "inventory is mixed". I'm very dissapointed with both the shoe and response I received.

I caught these bad boys when they were priced down to only $40! One upside to the price fluxuations on amazon. They are super comfy and I'm picky about comfort shoes! I am pregnant with SI joint pain so a good comfort shoe is a must when I'm on my feet running around with my little ones. I got 7.5 W. If I could do it over (for the same price) I'd get 7W. It's roomy and has a soft fabric toungue. Love that the laces go around the shoe so it's fully adjustable. Linen and oat is a great neutral color combo. They have a nice feminine look as opposed to other Sperry styles. These do come with a memory foam insole instead which I prefer. I had some used Sperry's (different style) from the thrift store a while back but I didn't keep them because they were too narrow, didn't like the insole and they looked a bit manly. These are much better. These are my new go-to going to town mom shoe.

This is my third pair of Sperry Top-Sider shoes. I purchased them because I wore my other two out. I had them for years and they are the most comfortable shoes! The fact that they lasted years speaks volumes to the quality of the shoes. When you first get them, you have to wear them in a bit for them to reach the ultimate comfort. They tend to feel a little narrow, but owning two other pairs, I know they stretch out once you wear them for a bit.

My daughter got me hooked on these, after I initially had my doubts about the shoes. They are my absolute favorite shoes to wear now! Let me just give you first-time Sperry wearers some tips, though. Yes, you will get blisters when you first wear them. It's happened to almost everyone I know who wear them. It's sort of like breaking them in. I remember complaining to my daughter about this, and asking how in the heck she can wear them. She assured me that if I gave it a day or two (and wore a bandaid), I wouldn't have any problems after. I know that sounds like some insane ritual to wear a pair of shoes, but it worked. Now, they're extremely comfortable.They are a bit narrow though, but my other daughter with very wide feet hasn't had any issues with this specific style. I think I bumped her up 1/2 a size, however, and they fit her perfectly.That said, I wanted to mention that there are some inconsistencies with Amazon's stock of Sperrys. I've ordered a few now, and never had any issues until just recently. -The shoes arrived with different "Sperry" stamps on the back of the heel. One literally looked like it was engraved and stamped, but partially crooked and faded. The other shoe's stamp was darker and looked more typical of a Sperry logo. I'm not sure if I was sent knock offs (or just one knock off?), or just a defective pair? Whichever the case, Amazon was great with sending a replacement, and that pair is perfect. The shoebox lid was really dusty, which is kind of odd, but the shoes were in perfect condition (Even have the plastic shoehorns inside the shoes), so I can't complain.Highly recommend these with the tips mentioned. Trust me, if you do get a blister, put a bandaid on, and hang tight. You just gotta break 'em in.

These shoes I had to send back for a 1/2 size smaller. I wear a 7 and all my other sperry's in size 7 fit perfectly. These flopped off and fit kinda wide...even though they look like narrow type shoes. These also cause rubbing on my heel unlike the Ivyfish Sperrys that I own. I can only wear these for a short time and they start to rub my heel and there is a bump by my little toe that rubs my foot sore after a couple hours too. These aren't nearly as comfortable as my Ivyfish, but they're cute and more feminine, so i will keep them for the days I won't need to wear them all day :-/.

As a teacher in always looking for shoes that can keep up with my day. After a few years of shoes with no support and aching feet and knees I finally bought the Sperry Top Siders. They are incredibly comfortable and have the support that most of my shoes lack. My feet don't ache at the end of the day, I'm not ripping them off and they look great with both dresses and pants. They are a great investment!

I have painful neuropathy and I have a hard time finding shoes that don't aggravate by feet. These shoes are really soft inside. The soles are very comfortable and easy for me to walk in. I have never purchased Sperry's before, but I will be a repeat buyer.

My feet are 4â wide. I was a little nervous about the fit but did as amazon suggested and bought the 9.5m(I sometimes need wide shoes). These fit well. A bit tight at first slip on, but just in 5 minutes of walking theyâve stretched a bit and feel even better. Once theyâre broke in theyâll feel perfect!

Just as l expected fit and look exactly what l wanted. I have tried different boat shoes and these are definitely the best very comfortable, which after two operations on my right foot is very difficult to find. I can highly recommend these boat shoes. Delivery was on time as stated on the order.

They arrived with a defect, the stitching around the toe cap started coming out and had a hole where the square stitching should be. I returned them. Other than that they fit somewhat tight but with wear they should have stretched a bit. They were very comfortable to walk around in for the few minutes I had them on.

Ich besitze nun eine Vielzahl von sperry Schuhen und ich kann sie jedem nur empfehlen. Sie haben ein tolles FuÃbett und die Füsse tun auch nach einem Tag darin nciht weh.Eine tolle alternative zu Timberland Segelschulen. Sie sind leichter, bequemer und ich werde auch in Zukunft diese Schuhe kaufen. Die Grösse fällt genau aus.Die Schuhe sind für normal breite Füsse geeignet. Ich habe immer mal Probleme mit einer Druckempfindlichkeit bei meinem Ãberbein aber diese Schuhe schmerzen überhaupt nicht.

Was tight on one spot on my foot and took some time to wear in but now that they are broken in they are extremely comfortable. Sperry's are always a favorite of mine so I'm happy I didn't give up on breaking them in!

My wife liked the shoes, although her Sperry shoes from last year weighed half of what these weighed.This pair weighed 16 oz.while the older pair weighed 8.How is it that shoe weight isn't a recorded fact since shoe weight is important to the wearer?

Sperrys are amazing shoes. The first pair I purchased 6 years ago and they just got a little worn. There still wearable but it was just time for a fresher pair.

Too wide

The shoe itself was excellent in material and looks but was disappointed that it fit about a size too big. Also the top of the shoe is low/too close to the toe which makes it hard to keep on the foot so it will flop like a flip flop if thereâs any leftover room in the shoe at all, sock or no sock.
