Not Slip Resistant

I bought these shoes for a job in the restaurant business. They are NOT slip resistant; if anything, I have slipped more wearing these than any other shoes. They also run a bit small. If I would have to buy them again, I would go .5 size higher as they're narrow.

I've worn this shoe style for quite a few years and have always been very happy with the shoe. Not so much this time. I bought them to wear on a trip that was going to last about a month. I noticed that after only two weeks of wear (and not daily either) the sides of the shoe actually started breaking down and caving in. I was amazed.I don't know what is wrong with this shoe as when I came home I pulled an exact pair out of my closet that's 3 years old and they still fit my foot perfectly. I should have taken an old pair on my trip as I would have been better off and far more comfortable.If I buy this shoe again, it lwill be locally so I can return the shoes if the same thing happens. Shoes shouldn't break down after only a few weeks.

Not sure exactly what happened to these Easy Spirit shoes. This style used to be a nice soft comfortable leather. This pair is stiff and uncomfortable. They are now made in China. I don't know if that makes a difference to the quality of the leather, but I ma extremely disappointed in this purchase. I would send them back if I had not already worn them, but I was hoping to "break them in" that will not happen, I can tell.

I've been wearing the ap1 easy spirit shoe for years, over 20. I normally always wore 71/2b, but in recent years it felt slightly tight at the toe, so I went to an 8B and that worked ok. But as I got older I"m sure my feet got slightly wider, sothis time, I bought an 8D and they are perfect. The other thing I like about Ap1 which is this shoe,is that the balls of my feet don't hurt. They did when I tried the new type of shoe where the toe comes up off the ground. These are straight flat to the ground and you know where you stand, so to speak. They make you very sure footed. great shoe..

This is usually my favorite style of Easy Spirit. It's supposed to be super light and comfortable, but the one I received is oversized, stiff, bulky and uncomfortable. It's more like an orthopedic shoe than a light walking shoe. Unfortunately, I wore them outside the first day and couldn't return them. I bought another of the same model from another vendor on ebay, and it is exactly like I remembered, so this one is either mislabeled or not manufactured the same.

Reliable Easy Spirit fit. Not much cushioning especially considering it's a walking shoe. For my purpose of going to grocery kind of errands, will be OK and I'll add an innersole to get the expected cushioning.

I have a mobility handicap from polio 62 years ago. I hate to change the shoes I wear because there is always just enough shift to make my muscles sore. I have purchased two pair of athletic shoes and worn around the house for several days and just could not get them to feel good. I purchased this pair which were lighter than the others and liked them except that I felt they were tilting me backward so I put in lifts in the heel and they felt better. I am now wearing outside the house and hope they last a long time. I think I will buy another pair to have when these wear out.

I have worn this brand and style of shoe for over 20 years now. Originally you could order size and width and heel width for a really wonderful fit. Now you can't order the heel width at all. Because of feet issues I now need a WW shoe but an N heel width. Can't get it. So the shoe slips up and down off my heel with every step. I don't have a WW heel but that's what you get now with these shoes. Also there used to be some arch support but not any more which is okay for me as I use professional orthotics. I do like that the sole isn't real thick and heavy.

So difficult to find narrow fit shoes in this country, so I was delighted to find these! They are very comfortable.
