Love this purse but packaging ruined leather

This purse is absolutely adorable, especially since I love penguins! The material is high quality leather and the image is very realistic and great quality. It is a little on the small side (as stated in the item description). Unfortunately, I am rating it as only 3 stars and returning the item because it arrived damaged due to the way it was packaged. The purse was folded in a couple of areas creating wrinkles in the leather on the front side and the bottom, which prevents the purse from sitting flat/even. I know that there are ways to remove wrinkles from leather but honestly who wants to do that when they buy a new purse? I really do like this purse and am hesitant to exchange it because Iâm concerned the new one would be packaged the same way so I think I am just going to return it.
