RUNS TRUE TO SIZE / CUTE

They look great. Based on reviews I ordered 1/2 size up (9), I wear an 8 1/2 and was worried with thick socks it would fit tight. It was bigger than expected, so better to order your true size if you dont have wide feet. Have to return, but they don't have my size in the grey/black color, guess it's popular.
Caveat emptor

I loved these boots for about a month. They run wide, but with thick socks, they're extremely comfortable. So I was pretty bummed when during a hike I felt myself getting a blister on my heel. Turned out that the liner fabric had worn through and there was a hole, causing the fabric to roll on the edges and rub on my heel. There's really nothing I can do to fix it, and mole skin won't stick well enough to the fabric or my heel to make them usable. And, of course, I'm past the return window. I know you get what you pay for, but I thought I had gotten a real gem in these shoes. Alas, fool's gold.
Very wide, Great for Price!

Let me begin with how comfortable these boots are! I did not need to break them in at all. I am a size 9 1/2 so I bought a size 10. They did feel and look a little wide, I have wide feet so it worked out. Since they are a bit loose I didn't feel the ankle support was so great but it was okay. Hiked 12 miles with these and I have to say they were pretty great for the price. They are semi waterproof, but if your foot gets submerged into muddy water (like what happened to me) you're feet will get wet! They have okay grip. Did get a lot of compliments on how great they looked!

Los compre para subir la Malinche y después de 8 hrs continuas de uso, puedo decir que son comodicimas y funcionan perfecto en las piedras y el frío
Great shoes, didn't need to break them in.

These shoes are great! The treads are awesome, you won't be slipping in them. They have some room in them so a smaller size may have been a little better, but overall they were fine. I summited Mt Whitney, waded through water at Havasupai and waterfalls everywhere in between, and countless other hikes. In fact, I backpacked San Gorgonio in them without breaking them in first, other than wearing them a couple hours around the house. They did not give me any issues. If you hike a lot, these shoes will get you through a year (or more if you don't constantly get them wet like me;). I still have mine and use them as a back-up.
Great support and grip

These a great shoes. I should have broken then in before I took them hiking with the boy scout troop. But I am glad I had them. They offer great ankle support which is huge for me. I've used them in the yard a few time and so glad I had them. I have issues with my left foot so good support and comfort are high on my list. The grip is great. I was building some steps for our front walk. We were using the quick dry cement. My boots got nice and dirty haha but I hosed them down and I got most if the gunk off. I was impressed by the amount I doused them my feet didn't get soaked. I was going to spray them with stuff to help make them water proof I just hadn't had time to do so before I needed them. But from the amount I sprayed on them my feet didn't get that wet. They did dry pretty quick. They are great for what I need. I'll have them for hikes and working in the yard.
Willbe great when they fit

Hot damn these are big. Like a full 3/4 of a size. One of the pics shows me pointing to where my big toe hits in them. I was disappointed bc I was super looking fwd to these and after a really stupid and annoying snow storm hit NJ all shipments were stuck for a couple extra days, making prime useless this week. So on top of them not fitting really, I had already waited a few days of delay for them. I packaged them back up to exchange. I like them otherwise. So I am going against my usual and actually going through the trouble of exchanging sizes. I have included some pics here. They are comfortable otherwise a tiny bit clunky but I think that was bc if the size. My feet are very sensitive to shoes that are too big itâs like an insane short circuit in my brain. I canât walk right. The toe clips the ground, they feel clunky I feel fat... itâs this whole thing that happens when a shoe is too big. So.... size aside, they are ok. I like the colors. My laces were in tact, no threads or ripped soles like some of the other pics on here. They were packaged fine. Clearly brand new. Hopefully I can update with correct fit.
Great lightweight hiking shoes, Good for light snow.

These boots are great so far. I have only had them for a few weeks but wanted a lightweight and less cumbersome boot for light snow on the Cape. These do the trick. The tread is good enough for light snow and they keep my feet warm and dry. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is that the laces are awkward in that they are tension type laces which can be annoying when you want to pull the ones in the center tight for ankle support. But the shoe itself has a good arch support and they feel sturdy and supportive when walking - and are still lightweight and much easier to take on and off than my heavy snow boots.

Average in every way

OK so after several days walking in these I have a few thoughts...these are perfectly fine and average. They lace up easily, my fingers love that! They lace up high enough that they will cover my ankles during tick season and hold my sock in place over my pants. Love this! They are not comfy. I will NOT be taking another hike until I purchase inner soles. I find ZERO give in the sole and it feels much like walking on wood. Not pleased to have to invest in additional cost.Obviously as new boots they do not bend or flex well, the sole again is rigid and more like a work boot sensation than a hiking boot. I don't know the technical term but I find I am "clomping" about in them, if this does not improve with a few more miles on them I will just donate them.Fit: I feel like the toe box is off. It feels a bit shorter than usual and wider than expected. I had to argue quite a bit with the laces to get it where my toes were not touching the front of my boot.OVERALL: They will do for now. As soon as I find a better pair at a thrift shop I will be swapping these out. They serve well for snowy trails I can't move quickly on and shorter bird walking ventures, but I don't see myself using these for more strenuous hikes ever. I would much rather wear wet socks and sneakers than try to climb over rocks in these. So for the price, if you want a pair of boots for casual hikes with lots of stopping on flat ground these will be perfect.A low cost beginner hiking boot is honestly what these are.

I usually take half a size up for outdoor shoes (size 7), but these in my true size (6.5) turn out to be fitting just like my size 7 shoes. They are perfectly functional on dry days for hiking and walking - good traction and ankle support. On wet conditions however - either a rainy day or just wet grass in early mornings, they get soaking wet in a few minutes. They were stiff out of the box and did rub my ankles and heels quite a bit while getting broken-in, which took me a couple months. I purchased them as I was short on time, for a 2-week trip to PEI. It was fortunately mostly sunny on the trip, so they served their purpose, as a pair of affordable option. It's merely 5 months now since I bought them, never did any serious hiking with them, but just used for walking my dog in the neighbourhood or in the woods. The fabric on the heel has worn, and the lugs in a few areas have almost flattened out. I'd expect them to be done in another season. So I'd say I would not purchase these again for the same price (around $55). Perhaps around $30 is more of a reasonable price for these shoes.

Me encantaron!

I ordered these for a mid-September camping trip in the Rockies, as we anticipated some possible snowy and wet weather. These boots were warm, comfy, fit perfect with even more than one pair of socks (although I never needed a second pair). I will probably continue to wear them through the winter on some snowy days because they have great grip. I'd order them again.

Perfect fit when it comes to sizing, but there's a double pleat that was formed at the upper ankle on the right boot. I bought these hikers to help support the ankle that I broke a couple months ago, and now that I can wear footwear once more, I thought these boots would really work, as they are well padded. It is unfortunate that the 2 pleats are located right at the ankle and heel, exactly where I had my fracture, and so it bugs the fracture way too much to wear these hikers. I thought they would be soft since they are suede, but the stiff, hard rubber patch at the heel and ankle makes these hikers too rigid for me to wear.

I'm usually a 7.5 in shoes but the 8 fits pretty well with a little extra room if I want to wear a thick pair of socks in colder weather. I have not tried out the water resistance yet but I will be spraying them with a product to water proof them anyways. They have good ankle support, and a comfortable sole. All around very happy with them!

Estéticamente me encantaron! Están muy lindos.
