Size Up!

I needed a good pair of work shoes for the office. These are perfect. Super comfortable. Its like walking on clouds. The leather is soft and doesn't need much breaking in. I feel like I could walk around in these for days with no issues. I own various Frye boots, sandals, and sneakers. I'm always a size 8. But after reading the reviews on these and talking a friend who also purchased these, I went for the 8.5. I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly. So do a 1/2 size up when buying these.

These run a tiny bit small for Frye. (I order 8 in boots, and these fit just a tiny bit tight in 8. If you plan on wearing thick socks, get a half size larger. They are leather, though, so they'll stretch.) So soft, so cute, yes. Yes. I'm waiting for other colors to go on sale to order them. SO COMFORTABLE. New favorite.

I hardly ever write reviews but buyers need to be aware that these run super small. I wear a 10 in nearly every shoe including Frye... In their boots, loafers, all of them and I own a lot. These fit about a size small in my opinion. A half size I would think would stretch out to fit snugly, but these would barely even go on. I had to check the box to make sure the right size was sent, then the tag inside the shoe in case it was mixed up, but nope, theyâre just tiny. Leather is thick, too, so not much âgiveâ to it. No choice but to return these.
Definitely order 1/2 size up!

The leather is very soft, very comfortable shoe. Ordered an 8 first, my normal size. I was able to get it on but really had to squeeze my foot in and it was tight over the top of the foot. Ordered an 8.5 for replacement. Fit comfortably, no tightness, very soft leather, and foot bed is nice! Flexible, light weight, and amazing.

I hadn't even worn the shoes outside yet, and the insole already came up and out after about 30 minutes of standing in them this morning. That is a pet peeve of mine when you can't take your foot out with the lining coming out with it. I thought Fryes would be a great brand, but even my cheepie Keds never did that.

I love Fry shoes. Unfortunately I had to return these because the upper on one of the shoes looked like it was twisted. Maybe cut wrong. They run about a size small. I ordered up and the fit was perfect. I own another pair exactly like these but in a different color. They are so soft and comfortable. Well worth the price. They are a lot more in the big box stores.
Knock-off, perhaps?

I have a cognac pair that I purchased fromA brick and mortar Frye store in Seattle. They are so incredibly comfortable and the leather is buttery soft. I love the color of these but they seem like a knock-off. The leather is not the same and doesnât have that normal Frye quality. Iâm keeping them because the sale was so good for this particular color. But, be warned. If you want true Frye quality, order directly from Frye or even Nordstrom.
Squeaky souls

I am a size 9 and they fit great. Like a new leather shoe. Loved everything about the style but have to return because these rubber soles SQUEAK. I only tried them on in my home on wood and linoleum, but I can't wear these in public. They are LOUD.
