I live in the north and comfortably wearing tights with heels is near impossible for me, so I wanted to try ankle straps. I was able to reposition them when attaching, but once I applied them to my shoe and put them on my feet, the bond was totally secure. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who suffers from pain when wearing heels. The leather is super soft, and the strap keeps me from putting my weight on the front of my feet where I get joint pain from bunions. And I love how they look! My favorite pumps just got cuter.

I had high hopes for my Ginger Straps. I'm going to a wedding this weekend and these arrived the day before I have to leave. The shoes I want to wear are too loose and don't have a strap, so I was hoping that these straps would be exactly what I need.The good news is the Ginger Straps functioned as advertised. They helped keep my shoes from feeling as loose as they were without any strap. I also got a handwritten thank you note with my delivery, which I truly appreciated as a personal touch.The bad news is the Ginger Straps were so uncomfortable that I couldn't use them. I followed the installation instructions, but the part of the product that sticks out of the shoe, where the strap loops through the tabs of the adhesive component, causes a LOT of chafing. I couldn't even tolerate the feeling for thirty seconds of walking in my house. I tried adjusting the position of the adhesive a few times, which began to significantly decrease the stickiness of the adhesive, but no matter what I did, the chafing was intolerable. It's possible that a different shape of shoe might not cause the same issue, but in my case, this rendered the product unusable for the purpose it was needed for.A few other notes: keep in mind that whatever your ankle circumference is, you'll want to keep the Ginger Snaps a little looser than that because they feel tighter when walking than when you're sitting. The adhesive loses stickiness as you readjust the positioning, so try to get it right on the first or second try, and definitely plan to buy one pair of these things for every pair of shoes; don't try to transfer them over and over.These might be wearable only if you're willing to stick a bandaid between the Ginger Straps and the backs of your ankles. Or if you're not sensitive to chafing.

I love this product. I can not only walk with confidence because my shoes are not slipping of my feet, but it makes the shoe look like a different shoe. I love I it! My only problem was the price. I was a little costly. Thank you

Great - they work perfectly for my shoes. My feet used to cramp trying to keep my interview heels on, but these made walking all day a breeze. I will say that I have pretty thin ankles/legs and I only use the 3rd largest hole on the strap, so these might not fit people with wider legs.

These things have saved my favorite shoes. Shoes I have stretched out that couldnât have been worn any longer and now I still can. So far the sticky backing is holding up with no problem. Had no problem getting them on. Color was right on. Wish they had some in red. The straps for the nude ones I bought are much wider than some of the other pairs. Donât know if that is a fluke or an attribute of that color. Still looks fine but if youâre concerned you might keep that in mind. The black ones were thinner which looked much better with those particular shoes.

Looks great, love the golden clasp, but I feel the straps deserved to be a bit longer. It's a bit tight.
Worked for the weekend

I lost one of the straps on my favorite ankle strap heels and had to replace ASAP before a formal. These are good and worked for the weekend but they have NO stretch in them so they are loose at some points in the night but at others they can be really tight on your ankle at other times (like walking down stairs). I also did not use the attachable back because my heels already a spot for the strap.
