Used pair from Costco...receipt was left in pocket. Fits smaller than other pairs I currently have and that were bought in stores. Material is not soft and has a cheap feel to it. Very dissapointed!
Fit in the Hips but Huge Gap in Back of the Waist

These pants fit okay in the hips but had a huge gap in the back of the waist so I had to return them. It's difficult to find pants that fit well in the hips without having a huge gap in the back. Even with a belt, the fabric was bunching out from under the belt and looked bad under an untucked top. If you have a smaller waist and fuller hips, try the Lee Women's Plus-Size Easy Fit Frenchie Skinny Jean in Black. That style was a perfect fit and I wish they had other dark colors. These Gloria Vanderbilts were a pass for me.
These are not jean material thickness. More dress/casual type of pants.

I bought a pair of Amanda jeans, on referral from women in the shop, in shopko last year and they are jeans and tough, sturdy pants. But, these pants are 1/2 or more less the thickness of the original jeans. I am very unhappy with them. I ordered them in 3 colors. Khaki, dark gray, and a beautiful light blue. When I tried them on straight from the package; they were skin tight! I thought I had ordered the wrong size. I thought I'd give them a try and wore them around the house for a weekend to see. Then I washed the 2 pair that I'd actually worn. After that, they became a little looser, more comfy. I thought it would be okay, but now they swim around my waist, my thighs touch and the material is nearly worn out after 2 weeks; it's pilling and wearing out from normal use. They bag there inside my thighs, rubbing on each other continually while I walk.The original pants I bought, actual jean material, had that happen, but it took a year to happen and now they have holes that need to be fixed. I wore those jeans basically every day! That's why I went looking for new ones. Shopko is closing so I thought I'd order the jeans online from amazon and was quite excited that they offered them in different, fun colors. I ordered them and am now stuck with beautiful pants that are falling apart, or will very soon. I don't think I can return items after I've washed them, so I'm very disappointed. The tapered jean is the thin material; I think the classic fit actually uses jean material. I'm going to try those.
White is not right!

These jeans look nice. They fit well and did not shrink appreciably when machine washed and dried. But, having said all that, I bought the white and there is a see-through factor that will necessitate wearing ONLY long tops with them. Such a bummer b/c the technology exists to have white jeans NOT be see-through any more!
Sturdy, comfortable

I gained a lot of weight over the winter and needed a comfortable pair of jeans to garden in, that wouldn't cut into my waist when bending down. I bought one larger size that I usually wear, and they fit perfectly. Material is thick and sturdy. They are so nice, I actually hate to wear for gardening, but hey - I need something to wear! Great buy - highly recommend.

I have been buying Gloria Vanderbilt pants for years - even as my weight has fluctuated. The fit has ALWAYS been perfect and comfortable. They last forever and the price can't be beat!!! LOVE, LOVE her pants!

I ordered the Lilac because I wanted a purple color to wear to an event. I really loved the color. However, it's a "softer" than than I wanted, due to the nature of the event. I debated whether to keep or return. Because I like the fit so much (I have recently lost weight), and the soft color that I can wear during the warmer months, I decided to keep.The one criticism I have is the length. I feel I'm relatively tall, at 5'7, however the size 14 medium are rather long. I don't like when they crunch up at the ankle. I believe they are meant to wear with heels. Other than that, I ended up ordering more colors.

I've started wearing Vanderbilt Jeans that have the higher waist because they fit my body better since I lost a lot of weight this past year. Glacial grey is a wonderful color, neutral and good to wear with lots of different color tops. Unfortunately Glacial Grey has been impossible to find anywhere else recently, maybe GV has stopped making this color? Don't know, but if so, too bad. These pants wear well with boots for winter, or regular shoes other times. I wash them in cold water and they still needed a full ironing to look sharp.

I'm a repeat buyer on these jeans. Love that they come in a variety of colours (so far I have tan, purple/magenta, and this nice deep green). They fit true to size. My only downside is they seem to wrinkle pretty easily when wearing them. Could probably be solved with starching them. The colour on my other jeans faded a bit quickly so I'd recommend to only wash them with gentle detergent and short wash cycle.

Los pantalones son de muy buena calidad, son de cintura alta y la tela es ligeramente elástica que ajustan muy bien a la silueta, no son skini, son Slim y tienen una muy buena caÃda, las piernas se ven mas largas. El color café es muy definido. No les doy cinco estrellas porque solicité talla 28 short que equivale a la talla 6 pero me llegó talla 4 petite, están muy justos, me cierran bien pero no los siento cómodos.

Enfin un jeans qui me va parfaitement !Tissu très doux et jeans hyper confortables. Ce sont mes premiers jeans Gloria Vanderbilt mais sûrement pas les dernières ! Je vais assurément acheter d autres couleurs.

Nice stretch, but somewhat wide on the hips. A little too expensive. If they cost less I would definitely buy a smaller pair because I like the fabric itself.
