Could have gone down a size

Very comfy. Nice tailored look that fits all my curves. Normally wear an 18 or 20 depending on how slim the cut is as I have around bottom and full thighs, ordered an 18 feeling optimistic. Tried them in and they felt right figuring after the first wash they would do the usual 1/2 shrink. Washed and dried in the dryer but no shrinkage. If you want a trim fit you might want to go down a size.

I love Democracy jeans - they hug your curves nicely and don't gape at the back waistband. Unfortunately, the plus size jeans are not the same as the regular 0-16 size - the quality isn't as good and they don't hug the same way. This particular pair of jeans was waaaayyy to short, and not in a cute way.

I was really excited to find a straight leg denim jean that wasn't too full. This one is nearly perfect. I need to exchange for a size down. I have heavy thighs, calves, and usually swollen ankles, so the "slim fit" and jeggings that are so popular now leave me feeling somewhere between an over-stuffed ice cream cone and a sausage - a real confidence buster. These are very flattering to my curvy waste, bottom and hips without accentuating my heaviness. And they work with my ankle boots. My husband likes them, too. Can't wait for the new ones to get here!
Democracy misses the mark with these pants.

These jeans put the M in mom jeans and not in a good way. I'm usually a little wary of black denim, but they were such a good buy I gave them a try. Way too big and they fit like pants my grandma bought with the elastic gathered waist--only with a zipper and button. Try at your own risk!

I have much broader hips and big thighs but a much smaller waist in proportion and most jeans are huge in the waist but not these. They fit perfectly as if they were made fo my hourglass shape. A bit pricey but I am so happy with them. I havenât washed them yet but I donât anticipate a problem. They are stretchy and very comfy to wear.

I'm 5'4". The length is perfect at the heal. The jeans fit my waist and hips/seat very nicely. The material has a significant stretch to it, so while it is forgiving, it is hard to say how long the material will hold up. The front pockets are a little shallow which is why I rated the jean as a 4 out of 5.

These jeans are fantastic! They fit SO super well, look great cuffed or uncuffed, and are exceptionally comfortable.Plus--- they look great! I'm very happy with this purchase!
