Mostly reviewing to post pics of Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 3 with the wallet/bag. Also with each other to show how much difference 5mm of height or width makes on the size of a smartphone. They fit in this bag handily. I'd say it's ideal, if a little snug with the bumper on the Note 3 (it's the longest of the series). Here are phone specs: [...][...]That's where you find out of your phone will fit somewhere. As far as phones go, it may be dicey to keep a touchscreen near the magnetic closure, particularly if your phone is on a lot inside your purse.Strap as sent with buckle at the 2nd longest setting of 4 (holes are about 1.5" apart) was 36", not including the hardware, which add about 1.2" to each end. 38"/2 = 19, subtract about 8 for skinny-body depth leaves only about 15" to cross your body. That's a good thing, though, because it will stretch, a lot. You can stretch it yourself, too. String it up with some (even) tension on it and mist it with distilled water or (70%) rubbing alcohol. If you pre-stretch it, it shouldn't stretch as much over time.It really is a hybrid wallet/bag. Small enough to put in a bigger bag, but kind of bulky to use inside moderately sized bags. Big enough for phone, money (coupons receipts, checkbook), lipstick, tissues, hand sanitizer, keys, but that's about it. Since I'm a geek, I tend to tether stuff to the outside, like my car remote and my reuseable shopping bags; the strap rings are perfect for that.Card slots are tight (again, good for stretching, so these should track me perfectly through arthritis). No pen loop(s). There is a small, zippered "pantiliner" pocket inside the large compartment, and three "cash" slots in the wallet space.I searched hard for a design like this, and am so glad I found something with quality leather and solid workmanship.

Despite the smaller-than-expected size, I'm over the moon about this wallet!

This deserves a 5-star review for quality, and I would have given it one were it the sized advertised. It says 10" wide. It is not. It is 7' wide. This was a disappointment, as I could have used the *extra* room. However, that being said, I actually can fit everything I need in it, even at its smaller size, probably because the design is so well thought out. One thing I was looking for is an outside pocket into which I could put my LG V20 (about the size of a Samsung Note) at 6.5" long. Bingo! Mission accomplished. Another thing I wanted is an external zippered area with card slots and pockets as in a traditional women's wallet. Success there as well! It also has to fit into my larger Healthy Back bag for when I'm doing more than a trip around town running errands or out for a hike. Perfecto! In addition, it is of the best possible quality in terms of construction and materials. I can tell that it will last me for decades. With swivel clips, sturdy metal parts, and leather that will age well and stretch a little over time; with a design that actually accommodates the full size of the pockets when they are filled, I look forward to many years of use.The only improvements I could wish for would be that:1) it was the size advertised2) the seam between the two zippered pockets was open at the top to provide a teeny space to put things like receipts as I go through the day; 3) a small external zippered pocket for coins (I have a teeny coin purselet that fits in the main zippered pocket.)4) an elastic loop inside the card pocket for a pen (which I will put in myself).I've provided photos of how I'm fitting everything into the wallet. In the big zippered pocket I have the coin purse, ear buds, two lip glosses, eyeliner pencil, a couple of tissues and wipes, a small packet of pain relievers, another small packet of mints, a pick comb - it all fits! Although the photos don't show it (since I was taking the pics with my phone), that fits in the outer unzipped pocket (with the other pockets filled) without closing the snap.I would not hesitate to purchase again from Piel, nor to recommend them to friends. Well done, Piel!

Disappointed in bag because my galaxy phone in its protective case along with money, license credit cards etc fit nicely in the hag. However the leather front pocket was sewn with a puckered fold. I was going to keep the bag anyway but while carrying it for the first yime the clasp on the wristlet let go and the bag detached and dropped to the ground. The clasp did not close securely. Too expensive for the construction.

Very resilient and holds more than you think

This is literally the fourth one I’ve owned in about ten years. I wear the outside leather out but use it every day. This is my “purse” and I don’t take good care of it AT ALL. I’ve traveled all over the globe with it. It’s been shoved into my backpack, into luggage, under car seats, slung from my shoulder and hung off chairs and door handles. This thing is DURABLE.I also live all the spots for cards, the separate zippered area for change inside the zippered picket where I keep my lipstick. It’s surprisingly spacious, I can cram a ton of crap in it and that zipper never fails. They fixed the problem where the clasp that holds the strap disconnected and it would cause one side to fall from the strap. One thing I love and hate is the belt-buckle strap. It’s great that it’s adjustable but after wear and tear, it tends to bunch up under the buckle and can come undone.I’ve owned this in black and brown and both hold up exceptionally well.
