Beware the fraying seams...

Update: I hate to say it, but you should not purchase this bag. One of two things will happen:1. Youâll feel meh about it and and wonât use it very much/at all.Or.2. Youâll love it! And youâll use it regularly and it will completely fall apart in about a month or two and youâll be so sad.In both cases youâd be better off buying something else. The seams, as I said before, are sewn terribly weakly and with rough edges exposed which leads to incessant fraying, but thatâs nothing. The liner is such a thin fabric that itâs parted completely after just a month of regular/light use. I managed to re-sew some parts, but today? While I was at a big event one of the handles just fell off. Ugh. What an embarrassment. It really is a lovely concept and the style is just my taste but whoever is making these bags seriously needs to implement sturdier sewing techniques or else this is just meant to hang on a wallâeven then it might fall apart. Iâm super bummed obviously, just donât buy it.Original: For the record, I like this bag a lot, the straw is so pretty and the color goes with a lot of my outfits. But as a sewer? This bag is poorly made. If you look at the photo, youâll see endless threads Iâm constantly having to trim. The inner liner doesnât even have a folded seam, itâs just two pieces of very thin fabric sewn together! It would have been such an easy fixâfold the seam and sew for a sturdier fold and zero fraying. So as nice as it is, it simply will not last. I might sew up a better seam, but I donât expect everyone to have patience for this. Still, itâs a cute bag...

If I could rank this purse zero, I would! Probably even in the negative numbers! I Purchased it a while ago and finally decided to use it⦠I have carried it exactly 3 days⦠It is literally just falling apart hour by hour. The first day I ended up having to stop multiple times to use little scissors to clip all of the frayed threads coming out of it that just made it look frankly like junk. Day two I discovered that There are several gaps where the lining does not meet the straw exterior of the purse and all of your belongings just fall out of those gaps. And then now not even 72 hours into carrying it, it has developed a giant frayed section in the lining that is becoming a giant hole! Totally worthless! Do not purchase!

Itâs a great purse/bag. Took it to Florida on vacation entire lining ripped within 4 days. And because if the holes I lost lipsticks and change and anything small enough to slip through before I found the lining in shreds. Would not recommend anything of weight or significant bulk to be placed in the purse. Iâm just thankful my wallet and phone did not get lost. With all that being said, it was a cute purse. I threw it out upon arrival home.

Beware, it's not made with yarn. Its straw like material so the bags texture is hard.Should have read thats is "crochet" straw. Cute style, just wish it was softer yarn material.

I love the design of the purse; itâs roomy and I received lots of compliments. I liked it because it was very light to carry!Less than 3 months old and the interior lining completely ripped. I was walking through Costco when things started falling through the bottom.Buyer beware!
