Perfect Jeans!

I am very impressed by these Lee Jeans. They are very soft and comfortable and the fit is perfect. I bought a size 8 which was a tad bit large (8 usually runs small in other jeans) but still felt great. Being middle-aged, I didn't want low riders, I wanted something that would enhance an older woman's figure. These jeans actually make me look slim and sleek. I am going to flip them inside out to wash them (keeps the color nice) and edit this at a later date to see how they held up. There is a little room to shrink but I doubt they will. Lee's usually hold their shape well. The straight legs are not tight at all which is nice if you wear boots or Uggs, it does not outline their shape and look silly and also looks good tucked in! The jeans also look nice with heels! I never buy jeans online unless they are Lee or Levi, otherwise I have try them on. Lee's are reliable when it comes to the sizes. Find your favorite pair and Amazon will keep your favorites in your orders to refer to later! Thanks Amazon!

I have bought this brand for years and always the same style...something had happened in the quality of this product. The fabric is thinner than it used to be, the fabric is looser and there is a white streak that runs down the seam on my inner thigh. What used to be a wonderful product, has turned into something I will never buy again and will probably donate instead of wear

Lee Women's Classic Fit Monroe Straight-Leg Jean, Ellis, 4These are different than the same ones I bought in size 6. These are marked differently. They have more elasticity and are more form fitting yet extremely comfortable. Seems like I got updated version of the Lee Classic Monroe that is figure enhancing. They have an extra tag that says: "Instantly Slims. Sliming Tummy Panel - Comfortable Holding Power."The width of the leg opening is less wide - not so much a boot cut as the one's I rec'd day before yesterday. They seem more current in styling. Not a ankle skinny jean but more like a Lucky Brand straight leg High Waist, but the legs are not so tight they cut off your blood supply :)The original one's got baggy in tush almost immediately so I ordered a size smaller. I have a pair in a different color coming tomorrow and If they are the old style I'm sending them back. These are just what I wanted and the size 4's are utterly a perfect fit. Yeah! And they didn't cost me a mint but they look as good as jeans I paid a mint for.
FINALLY.....JEANS THAT FIT!.. SO WHY THREE STARS?

EDIT: LOVE THE FIT, but....they FADE faster than my Gloria Vanderbilt straight leg did. I wash in COLD water, the same way I did the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, yet they look lighter black after much fewer washes. In fact, Vanderbilt jeans I've had for YEARS are darker than Lee's I have washed maybe five times. I only changed from Vanderbilts because they discontinued the style I liked.So knocking down to TWO STARS. I like BLACK jeans because they look dressier, but not when they look beat up and faded about a handful of washes (in COLD WATER).___________________I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING...for a replacement to the Amanda STRAIGHT LEG (they're TAPERED now) jeans by Gloria Vanderbilt. Finding a great-fitting, high-waisted pair of jeans seems like finding a pearl in an oyster...only harder.I read the reviews and wasn't sure WHAT to expect. You don't know til you try them on. They just arrived, I quickly tried them and they are comparable in fit and style to the old straight leg Amanda's I bought for years.I may even like them better! The legs fit just a tad tighter than the Amanda's but they are still straight leg (I like to wear with ankle boots with the boots in the INSIDE of the jeans). I wear with boots with a two inch heel and these seem perfect without hemming. (I am 5'4" and got the 8, I weigh about 153-155)..I am in my sixties and like a high waist, a jean that pulls you in a bit (yay, spandex!) and the bit of stretch these have, I find flattering.So if you're looking for something flattering and not interested in the skinny, low cut jeans, yet don't want jeans that look like baggy old lady jeans, these might work well :-).

I normally wear size 10 to 12 (M to L) and I ordered 12, expecting these to be a bit loose based on other reviews and the description. These jeans are not as described. They are tighter than skinny jeans. The material is not what is listed in the description. These do not have 2% spandex. The label says 1%, but I would be surprised if even that is true. When I put the jeans in front of me, they looked like they would fit well, but they're so stiff that I can barely get them up without hurting myself. When I finally did, they were below by belly button. These are low rise jeans, not high rise. Based on the inseam listed for the normal length, I thought these would be a bit long. They're actually a bit short and I'm only 5'4". The fly is super stiff. I couldn't zip it up when I tried on the pants. I took the pants off and tried again - it was still difficult to zip up and did not go all the way up. I broke part of my finger nail trying to get the fly working - I got it a bit better, but not good enough to wear. The inner label was also faded and slightly ripped when the product arrived. I expected better from this company. These jeans are too stiff to wear and the sizing is smaller than it should be especially considering how stiff these are.

I ordered a 16 long but got a 12 long. I am disappointed especially as the quality seems to be good.

OK I like these jeans but they are not as good as the "same" jeans I bought in the USA. The material is thicker and I have trouble doing up the metal button but they are very good for the price.

5' 3" Size 32 waist.Took me a long, long time to find reasonably priced jeans that fit in the right places and is good quality. This is it. Material good - not flimsy, colour rich indigo.Only slight snag, which is why I put it under moderately small, is that it isn't as high in the waist as I would like and could be an inch longer. Maybe should have gone for long and turn up to my taste. Love it though.

Bought Lee jeans as I had previously loved this make. Will be keeping them but the weight of the material is not as great as it used to be, very thin.I have given them 3 stars because of the fit of the jeans, not the quality of the material

Excellent pair of jeans. I have put on a bit of weight recently and despaired of getting a well fitted, slimming pair of jeans until I got these. Very happy with the product.

They fit well. They have a higher cotton blend than a lot of relaxed-fit jeans which is welcome. I find jeans with a high synthetic compoment have a peculiar odor - like urine when the body warms the fabric. The Jones New York jeans that I have worn for years also fit well but when I read the Amazon reviews that said they now fit smaller than previously, I thought I'd try these. Four stars, because though they sit at the waist, they still tend to slide down - a bit too relaxed! A bit more cotton in the blend would solve the problem.AMENDED REVIEW: They just kept sliding down even with a belt. Had to wear the belt so tight, they were uncomfortable. Missed the Return window. Donated to charity.

Have you ever received mouldy pants in the mail? Me, neither! This is a whole new experienceânever before have I opened a sealed bag inside a plastic shipping envelope to find black spots sprouting on garments. And in this driest of months! Gone are my visions of vast and arid Amazon warehouses filled with cookie cutter stacks of suburban apparel. No! These pants must have more organic beginnings. Perhaps they grew in the soil of an underground mushroom farm. Or were salvaged from a freighter dragged from the depths of its watery repose. So fun to imagine! Now, if I can figure out how to clean them without inviting an explosion of spores, they just might be okay.

I absolutely love these jeans. I am only 5'2" and weigh 134 and was thrilled when the 12 short not only fit well around hips and waist, but were the right length to boot!! I have to shorten EVERYTHING I buy, so these jeans being the perfect length was a super bonus. I even bought a second pair!
