Nice jeans. Quality construction (in Mexico) and a comfortable fit. I run between size 10p and size 12p, depending. These are a 12 and are just inside comfortably loose, so they fit to size. Because of the 19% polyester/spandex, I could probably comfortably fit into a close fitting size 10. Adjust your sizing accordingly.The front pockets? Too shallow, so a star off for that. What is that about? Short pockets like the short-sheeting prank, really annoying. And not readily apparent in the product photos, I've made a close-up of the fabric so you can see if that's a denim you like (or don't).

Over the past year, I've lost over 50 pounds and am now at a weight where I feel in good enough shape to wear jeans. Of course, jeans are not what they were when I was growing up so the search for comfortable, stylish jeans that don't feel like stretched out, soggy plastic pants after a few hours wear has been arduous as Hell.I have bought and returned more than a few styles of NYJD, Universal Standard, Wranglers, LL Bean, Land's End, Torrid and even some of the Lee styles. You can call me the Goldilocks of Jeans-these are too big, these are too stretchy, these are too long, these have too low of a rise and so on. I don't really know why I ordered this particular style-probably desperation-but when I put them on, it was obvious they were just right. They come up to my natural waist, I could slide them on easily over my thighs, they hug my curves without looking like they were sprayed on, there is no waist gap in the back, the front pockets are usable, the inseam on the petites are long enough so I don't look like I'm wearing what we used to call 'high waters,' I can zip them up without having to lie down and they stay zipped, there is no pouching below my stomach. They are normal looking, servicable jeans and they don't bag to the next size up after a day's wear. All this for $21.99! WOW!I just ordered 2 more pair in different rinses. After 6 months of searching for 'just right jeans,' Goldilocks struck gold with these! : )EDIT: 4/20/19I adore these jeans. I bought a pair last September after I'd lost a great deal of weight and wore them until they no longer fit. I switched over to LLBean and Talbots jeans, but as I continued to lose more and more weight (90 pounds to date) it got absurdly pricey to be buying $95 jeans over and over as my shape changed so I went through my buying history and re-discovered these.I wear a petite-28 inch inseam-and for $21.99, I got a really comfortable, well fitting pair of jeans that hold everything in where it belongs but still let me breath normally and feel comfortable after a cheat meal, that don't "grow" a size after several hours or give me "full diaper butt." They are stylish in a classic way that won't look dated in 2 years, the pockets are serviceable and they don't look spray painted on. They are true, un-distressed jeans, not skin tight jeggings pretending to be jeans. I have big, muscular calves and these don't cling to my calves like tights. They fit as described-"classic fit straight leg jeans."One caveat-before you press the "buy" button-look at the material content of the color you have selected. The ones I bought are only 81% cotton. Personally, I would never buy anything with less cotton because in my experience, the lower the cotton content, the higher the stretch out/sag potential becomes.

Yep, other reviewers who stated that the sizes vary are correct. I ordered two pairs together, one pair has a waist band that is about 1 3/4 " bigger than the other. All other measurements are same. Leg length, leg width, hip width, all are the same. I have come to expect this no matter what brand you are looking at. I was told by a store, that this happens because they contract out in batches, to different manufacturing houses, for any given brand and style. Since one batch of a jean may be made in one house, and the next batch in a different house, variances occur. I Know it doesn't make sense, because you would think since the pattern is suppose to be the same pattern being used no matter who cuts and sews a batch, but somehow this occurs anyway. I'm still giving this jean a 5 star rating because I happen to like the jean and fit and color. I can not find these in the store any more or I would go there so I could compare sizes to make sure they are consistent, but since that is no longer possible this is the best I can do. I can live with this, verses the faced, torn, low rise jeans in the store. Call me old fashioned, but when I buy new, I want it to look new!!

I thought these jeans fit too snugly to be called a size 18. Riders by Lee are my usual brand, and the other Riders jeans size 18 that I purchased the same day fit perfectly, comfortably. These are stretch jeans, and they are cut so that they stretch to the size shown. I was hoping for a product cut to size, then some stretch to make it easier to bend knees and to sit. These fit like leggings made of denim.

Lee Riders have been my favorite jeans since the 1980's. I've gone from western swing to everyday around the house in them. SO GLAD to find some AT THE WAIST jeans again! They aren't in the stores where I live but good ole AMAZON has them!!! Thank you.

I LOVE these jeans! I was very leery about ordering jeans online due to the fact that clothing sizes always differ. However, these fit perfect and I love the dark indigo color. Not too tight but quite slimming. The length is great too! I also love that they don't sit half way down my seat! Sorry...but not everyone is built for that awful style. These are a great pair of classic jeans. Just what I was looking (and hoping) for.
Jeans that look good enough for casual business dress, and are still comfortable and wear well.

I have a hard time finding quality jeans that fit well and look good, without the 'mom jeans' effect. I finally found this brand and style at my local WalMart, but when I went back for another pair, they'd been discontinued. So I was delighted to find these available on Amazon in exactly the right style, color, size and price. They look good enough for casual business dress, and are still comfortable and wear well.

I've worn Lee Riders for as long as I can remember. My size for the classic jean hasn't changed, and I can confidently buy those, knowing they will fit. This "Indigo" style runs ridiculously smaller. I don't know if even going up one size would work for me. These are definitely going back. Although I'm sure it's a good jean, I suggest ordering them only if you've tried them on somewhere.

These are nice quality pants. I do fine they fit small. I am quite curvy and usually wear a size 14 petite. I am 5'7" but I have a longer torso.I hope they stretch out a bit in the waist. It was difficult to get them over my hips.Otherwise, the quality is nice and the fabric seems to be good quality.

Love the way these jeans fit. So comfortable, and the right length. I like where the waist band hits. The only thing that I would say is that they do fit a bit smaller than the usual size. But I love them and would order them again.

Not as heavy a material as my other Rider jeans, but what I wanted was a pair of BLACK casual pants. These fit the bill. They are comfortable and fit easily instead of feeling like I was "poured" into them. A little longer than I expected, but I'm not complaining. I have an awful time finding pants that are long enough to cover my ankles, let alone go past my heels. This will be a real change for me. :D Good price too, as good as buying at C***co, but getting a decent brand name instead of whatever Chinese knock-off they could provide, better price than even W****rt. I will keep Amazon on my list for clothes shopping in future. ;)

Good quality, good fit. Nice heavy weight, comfortable waist. As always, I need belt and my waist to hip ratio is "hour-glass" type.

Agree with the other reviews that say they fit small in the waist. I'm a 14 (and sometimes find a 14 a little too large) and these are very tight! Not to the point of being un-wearable due to discomfort but the fit is not terribly flattering around the middle. Everything else is good so I will keep them and hopefully they fit better someday, haha.

Reasonable Quality but too small. I bought the same size in another Riders by Lee and they fit perfectly. So just be warned, you need the next size up. I had to exchange them and get another pair of the other ones instead since the next size up wasn't available.

Wonderful look, study jeans. However, they fit WAY to small. I'm usually a size 12-14 but I read reviews that said it runs small, so I ordered size 16. The size 16 was still TOO small! I couldn't believe it. If you're going to buy this product, order at least 2 sizes bigger than you are. I'm assuming the size 18 would fit me, but I'm not reordering.

Very much smaller than marked size, at least two sizes smaller. I am sending back. Color seems nice, though can't say if it would hold up through washing as I am sending them back unworn.

nice jeans but too long again. they also are a very small fit and cut you off at the waist ; i can't get the top button done up, they ill have to go to charity shop too.

Such a nice black jean. These flattered my stomach and hugged my hips in all the right ways. They were a bit long but I expected that due to 14 medium sizing when I'm normally a 14 short. Felt very comfortable but very fitted. I would highly recommend for the price these are worth it!
