Democracy jeans fit great. Because they have a stretch, they will get a little looser as you were them. I am 5"2" and weigh 150lbs. I bought 12's originally because I had gained weight as I have aged. They were getting baggy with daily wear. I would have to try and shrink them for a day's use.I now bought 10's and they still fit. Just so you know this perticular pair of jeans are not the skinny jeans , they do have a flair so they are harder to roll up to capri length. Look for the Democracy Skinny leg jeans if you want tighter at the ankle. I did find my Democracy at TJ Maxx at $29 and Also at Steinmart. So shop around in your hometown. They fit curvy women a lot better.

I am 5'41/2" and weight 150#. I am almost always a size 12 in pants. I am 58 years old but I am somewhat trendy dresser. I would say subdued trendy. I bought these Democracy women's ab solution straight leg jeans in a size 12 regular length. I would have preferred short but they were not available. These jeans sit right below my belly button and are not so tight at the waist as to create muffin top. They slim my tummy down a bit and create a very smooth silhouette and again, with no muffin top. Yay!!! I chose straight leg because I wanted a pair of jeans that will go over my boots. I'm a little tired of boot cut and skinny jeans. They are little long but worked just fine when wearing low healed boots. ( think engineer or motorcycle boots) The denim is also a little bit on the thin side but they are very soft and washed/dried well. Over all, I am happy with these jeans. They are comfortable, look nice even though I can't wear them with every shoe.

I love these pants so much. I got them in black and would not call them jeans really, since the fabric is a bit lighter than denim and more like a twill, but they have a really good stretch to them and are perfect for work in a business casual environment. I like that the fabric, though stretchy, doesn't sag much with repeated wear. They do have a bit higher waist, which I really like because no more plumbers butt or gapping at the back, and a truly straight leg (not tapered, not boot cut). I wish they came in gray, but I might still get a pair in indigo.I also have an indigo pair with a tapered leg in a size larger that I bought about 4 months after having a baby, because maternity pants were too big but I wasn't back to my original size yet. The "ab technology" really helped me to feel comfortable and trim after almost a year of feeling stuffed into my clothes, but without looking like mom jeans. I mean, even though technically they are, haha. Anyway, they were also a great purchase.

Love, love, love the way these jean's fit.Very flattering.I have thick thighs and hips and these jeans magically make them look great. I usually avoid these types of jeans because my figure makes my hip to waist area look very square then sharply tapers down the rest of my leg. Not these Jean's. I highly recommend

I love Democracy pants, they fit my body well. I'm 5'3" and about 138 lb, the size 10 fit great, not too tight. Inseam is 31" which is great for me, most pants are either 30 or 32--too short or too long. These are my go-to britches, I have several pairs.

Love these pants. Great fit for me. Very soft and comfortable. Flexible almost like stretchy denim leggings but more durable as I would expect but without the binding in the waist or seat. I also bought Democracy denim in the blue jeans style with a little more fitted around the legs and absolutely love them too. The price is decent, if you can get on sale even better, I paid over $50 but I would do so again for these.
Save your money and don't buy from this brand.

I have given Democracy jeans 6 tries. That's a lot, and it's because they fit so well I want them to be great. They are, however, crap. The zipper didn't last three months. This is my third or fourth pair with zipper failure. The fabric is very prone to snagging, and if it's not that then a belt loop rips off. Save your money and don't buy from this brand.

I have been searching for Democracy jeans for 3 years since I bought my first pair at a dept. store. Can't find them anywhere. The ones I have are a size 6 and fit perfectly- my favorite jeans! I am 5'4" and 130 lbs. The size 6 I ordered are like mom jeans . No offense as I am a older mom around 60 yo. The quality is good but they fit very big in the waist, crotch, and lower leg width. If you're looking for straight jeans, size down. I'm going to try the jeggings in a smaller size to see if they are closer to my old jeans that I love.

The pants fit very well but pet hair and any dust will cling to them like a magnet. Also, the pockets are not deep enough to be useful - a too common problem in women's clothing. Otherwise, they are ok.
