These are the nicest fitting jeans I have ever owned. I am 5'8 170 lbs size 12. I have a "muffin top" (hate that cutsy expression!) from having my babies and have had the hardest time finding the right waistline.. all of the jeans on the market seem too too lowrise.In fact, these jeans look better on me now than any other jeans did when I was super skinny. Love love - just goes to show, when you really make an effort to make a decent pair of jeans it can be done for any size!
sizing different from old Marilyns; made in Mexico not USA

This is last time I'll order NYDJ from Amazon. First pair was very badly rehemmed (by previous customer?) and tag read "Made in Mexico". Second pair is a style and size I have two older pairs of--Marilyn straight leg, regular length, size 0. This one is smaller in waist and thighs than my old pairs, and a good 3 inches longer! And, guess what, "Made in Mexico" again. I don't avoid buying items made in Mexico, but Amazon/seller description claims "Made in USA", and that's one of NYDJ's claims on their website too, so it makes me wonder if these are knockoffs?
Are the jeans 2nd quality?

I have not had these long and the stitching is coming undone. I have never seen a pair of jeans do this let alone a pair that cost this much. Sad. Are the NYDJ sold on Amazon 2nd quality?

I have never paid this much for a pair of jeans. Instead, I have paid $30 to $50 for NUMEROUS pairs that don't fit right. A constant battle for sure. No more!! These are awesome. I was concerned about the rise being too high. They are high but not overly so. Right to the waistline. Maybe just a tad below. Wish I had tried them a long time ago!! The tummy tuck feature is incredible. It works like you won't believe without being tight. It's hard to explain - they are tight but comfortable and look really good. Highly recommend you give them a try. I am 5' 7 and the length is perfect. I ordered a size down as the NYDJ website suggested. Totally awesome. The war has been won!! Perfect fitting jeans.

Let me start by saying that I own many pairs of NYDJ jeans. Mostly Marilyn. These are a little different than the other Marilyn jeans because of the "Future Fit Denim". The denim retains more heat so you wouldn't want to wear these in hot weather. I love the fit. In fact they fit nicer than all the other Marilyn jeans I own BUT.....I can't hem the darn things. Let me explain:I'm not sure what Future Fit means but they feel stretchier and a little thicker. The back of the fabric (part against your skin) is black not the whitish reverse denim you'd expect. So you wouldn't want to roll them up ever because they would look strange. But the biggest issue I have is I always have to hem new jeans when I get them. I'm just a tad shorter than 5'8" and I like my inseam around 32" for heals or 30-ish for flats. These jeans come very long. I think they were 34". I sew garments and have hemmed a lot of things so I know my way around the process. These jeans are impossible to hem. The material stretches so much that if you hemmed them by machine, no matter how careful you are, they stretch as you sew and the hem looks awful. I had to pull out the hem twice before I gave up and hemmed them by hand. Then I pulled that out because it looked weird, like they were just folded under. I finally gave up and just cut them to length and pulled on the threads to fray the edges. The frayed threads are black but it's not that noticeable from a distance.As far as their sizing goes, I ordered them in my usual size, not a size down as they suggest. I'm 5' 8", 145lbs and usually wear an 8. I probably could have ordered a 6 but I don't like my jeans extremely tight. If I was in my 20s, maybe, but not anymore. These size 8 jeans aren't loose, they fit just perfectly and don't stretch out after awhile either like other jeans.So I'm giving these 4 stars because I love them and leaving off a star because I'm not crazy about the hem/fabric.
Comfortable, but not made to last long.

I ordered this same product in 2015 and they still look great, so I decided to order them again. Maybe to cut costs, maybe from a different subcontractor or something, but this jean, now, is very thin and actually fraying in odd places like the front thigh area. Now, I'm 59 and don't want to be showing skin just out of respect for others who may see it peeping from my jeans. I loved the previous Marilyn Straight Leg Jeans from NYDJ, still love them, but not this pair. Really depressing.
Not the same as the department store - wrong stitching, thin fabric, size way too big

Not the same quality or material as the department store. These are much too large, fabric feels very uncomfortable and odd, and my legs are cold because the fabric is too thin. Length is much longer than the department store brand. I am concerned these are knockoffs and not the brand I thought I was buying. Looked at the manufacturer website and their seams are another color, the Amazon pants I received have flaws in stitching,p. Pockets look different too. I had to turn up the cuff 8 inches. I realize there are different suppliers on this site..so the one who shipped my jeans is not a reflection of all these suppliers.

My wife has previously purchased this product from a catalogue. The fit was poor around the legs making them look really baggy. They just didn't look at all like her previous jeans of this make. She uses them for gardening .

NYDJ are the most comfortable jeans ever and I have been buying them for years in every fabric, colour and leg - no creeping down, no gaping at the back, perfect length (I'm 5ft 8ins), good pockets which accommodate an iPhone.... I could go on.These are straight legged and high waisted and a great denim colour, sublimely comfortable and at an extraordinary bargain price!Be aware that the jeans are labelled with American sizing (which is 2 sizes lower than British)

They always fit a size smaller (I usually take a 6 but NYDJs are always a 4) but if you know this you'll get a great fit.This is the only brand of jeans I wear - if you watch, you can usually get them for under $100. Last year I got a pair for $30, they ended up being my favorite pair. I got these ones for $70 and had to get them hemmed (they were 33 or 34 inches when they got here) for another $10. Great buy :)

This is the most that I have ever spent on a pair of jeans and I was not disappointed.......it is so nice to have a pair of jeans that sit at the waist even though I am very petite....the colour was as advertised and the sizing perfect...they were a little long but I would rather have them hemmed then they be too short.

NYDJ jeans were good when made in USAI've been happy with 3 of them in pastThis pair is not so good in size, shape and fabric. I am size 12 for NYDJ and i ordered 12 again, but it is loose

I always buy NYDJ but this is the first time buying them online. I know my size so there was no risk. I'm very happy with the selection which was better than my local store.

The pants fit well, they are what I expected. Yes the quality of the denim is not what it used to be, so that sucks. The huge bummer is they STINK. I have washed them and they still give off a weird unpleasant smell. I am one very displeased woman

These pants when first put on appear to fit but after wearing for a few hours become baggy and totally unflattering. Legs are way wider than depicted on the models. Would not buy this product again

Siempre uso esta marca de pantalones porque además de ayudar a mi silueta; la talla es siempre correcta. Son confortables y el material es de excelente calidad. En pocas palabras me encantan.
