Love this purse! Cuter in person!

I purchased this large Kilofly Bohemian Hippie purse because I wanted a comfortable purse. I love this purse! It looks better in person! I almost didn't purchase it because the picture you see any Amazon doesn't look as good as it does in person, but I took a chance and I'm very happy. Amazon has items that you can return if you don't like them, such as this purse, so I was protected if I wasn't happy with it. FYI, the strap is adjustable it ties into a knot. So you can make it longer or shorter or per your preference. I like to cross it over on one shoulder to help distribute the weight. I have fibromyalgia and can't have all of the weight on one shoulder. The measurements for the straps are 56.5 inches total. 28 1/4 on each side. Keep in mind when you tie it, you lose some length.It's so much cuter in person! Stitching is well done and the purse is well-made. The purse has little open spaces near the bottom of the handles. Not sure if they have a true purpose but I like to slide my sunglasses in there to hold them. Has a zipper that closes the purse at the top. A few people have mentioned that there zipper has broke. I haven't had any issues with mine, but I don't always zipper it. It stays together pretty well so it's not hanging open when wearing it. There is a pocket that holds my cell phone inside as well as another pocket that has a zipper to hold items you want more secure like make up. I've gotten several compliments on this purse so far. I've needed a new purse for a while, and after hunting around on Amazon, I kept coming back to this one. There were a few reviews that stated this was made of flimsy material, so I was hesitant to buy at first, but I finally just went for it.I am very glad that I did! I've gotten so many compliments on this sturdy, comfortable, and stylish bag, that I want to get every single color this seller has. I wore this on a leisurely, three-hour hike and experienced no discomfort whatsoever. The interior seems to be made of some sort of denim, so I'm not sure why someone would call this "flimsy". I am able to store everything I need in here; I use the interior pockets for easy access to my cell phone and headphones, and the outer zipper pocket for my mints and lipstick.This is perfect for anyone, as the pattern can be a nice "pop" of color with your business attire or a fun addition to your casual wear. Love it!

Unfortunately, I waited too long to return this and it is no longer eligible for return. The bag seems to be made well but it stinks. I tried airing it out, which is why I kept it so long. I don't know what is in this fabric but it has a terrible, strong odor. The odor is so strong you can walk away from it and still smell it. I even tossed it in the dryer a few minutes with a dryer sheet. It still stinks.

I like this purse, however it had a VERY strong smell when I opened the package. I'm not sure if it's "washable" or not, but I couldn't stand the smell -- it smelled like lit matches! -- so I had to wash it before I could use it. I did not put it in the dryer, but the purse tore in the washing machine. I can sew the tear, so it's not a big deal. Also, the zipper on the inside pocket stopped working not too long after I bought the purse.I've had this purse for several months now, and I still like it. I don't put anything in the inner pocket that I don't want to fall out, since the zipper is still broken. The tear has gotten larger, but that's my fault for not sewing it when it first tore in the wash...I'm not good with a needle so I've put off trying to fix it!I like the size of the purse. It's not too big or too small. I also like the feel of it while carrying it. It seems to fit well on my shoulder. Hope this helps!

This is what Vera Bradley wants to grow up to be. The seams are straight and sturdy, the inner compartment large and well-zippered, and the shoulder straps tie for infinite adjustment options (and STAY tied while in use). Great colours, a nice mix of really rich patterns, and just large enough to carry a medium-sized (9"x7") book in--with all your other stuff. I will be purchasing this bag as a gift now that I've had it for a few weeks and know how nicely it's constructed. Thank you!

This bag was perfect for the beach which is what I ordered it for. I do wish that the fabric would have been a bit heavier however. But for packing, this can be rolled into a very small roll which is great. When using it, I would like a bit more stability but for the price it is okay. If the two ties were longer it could have been used for a cross body bag which would have been helpful, but it is just a bit too short to do that for me. In some light the fabric looks dark blue with the white and in others it looks black with while but is a good color for bringing to the beach. It holds a lot which is great.
The smell is offensive.

First, the reviews are correct, there is a horrible smell. I canât even deacribe it except to say that itâs so strong that there is a TASTE to it. Like the smell of musty warehouse, sweat and gasoline combined. Second, I ordered the black and white one which is very very much navy blue, not black. Third, itâs way bigger than I thought it would be. I was buying a purse, not a book bag. I could easily fit a laptop and a stack of books in this. All of that aside it is very well made. If I can eliminate the smell then maybe I will grow to like it.

Bought this for a trip. Material is nice weight and no smell. It is one piece not a patchwork. It is well made and material is heavy enough for use. Has a zippered pocket on outside, zippered and non zippered pickets inside. The bag also zips shut. I like that the strap can be tied at the length I want it. Overall, looks like a good buy

It arrived much sooner than I expected. I am thrilled with my new bag not only is it very pretty but it is a very good quality bag. The bag has a large zip along the top of the bag which stops anything from falling out. There are also two other zipped compartments one on the outside of the bag the other on the inside. There is also a pocket for a phone. Although the material is very eye catching its also very tough and stitched together well. Looking forward to many years of use.

This item receives a lot of use because of how much it holds and is made od pretty patterned cloth. Drawback is adjusting the strap after using for a while as they are hard to untie for anyone with clumsy fingers

Feeling a bit cheated. This bag looks black in all the photos, but it's actually blue. It's a nice enough bag but it won't go with anything. Disappointed. Will probably return it.

I like the bag though I am not to keen on the tie handle as it looks very bulky but I can adjust that as it is fabric

Although well made was disappointed with size. Without taking a ruler to it was hoping for something with a more generous capacity. Also the zip is very narrow which makes it quite difficult to rummage around inside.
