First, it is NOT 100% cotton, it's only 90% cotton, but it is still comfy enough. Second, it runs large, if you are size 8/10/12 and like a good fit go for size M. Size L will work for 12+ and above.

Very comfy lounge shorts, perfect for comfy couch activity....buy likely will be walking my dog and lifting some weights in them. I'm 5'3" and about 150 lb. I have pics but not sure how to add them along side this review.

Some people here seem to have received the "X-Temp French Terry Short" with the rolled cuff, but I received the shorts that are pictured. My measurements: waist 30, hips 37, thigh 22.5. Medium fits perfect! (They shrunk a little in the wash, not much, actually fit better afterwards.) Very comfortable, and they look pretty good too. The inseam is NOT 10", it measures 6 1/4" on mine, and they look like the picture. (The picture doesn't look like 10" shorts to me.) The fabric is thinnish, but not so thin that it show all your butt details. The pockets could be bigger but oh well. The fabric wasn't very soft at first, but got much softer after a couple washes. I might order another pair.Sorry the photos suck and are sideways. The shorts aren't cutting into my waist, that's just the weird shape I happen to be.EDIT: ordered a second pair, they arrived and are the same as the first. I've pretty much been living in them at home. Still wish the pockets were bigger.

I bought both the 10" jersey hanes shorts (grey) and the 11" bermuda cotton hanes shorts (navy). I was pleasantly surprised by the lengths of both. I ordered both in a size XL (size 16-18) even though I am 5'10" and size 12/14 based on some other reviews. The jersey shorts I am returning, not even to buy a different size. The fabric is too lightweight and easily comes up the legs when walking and creates an unfortunate camel toe (even though they are big). I am chalking this up to the material used as the other shorts don't do that. Since both shorts are big, I would suggest getting your normal size and not getting a size up unless you like very roomy shorts.

I really like these shorts! Super comfortable and flattering. They run a bit large. I bought 2 sizes and the medium was the best fit. I am 5'4" and 150 lbs. They are a nice length, not Bermuda length but not too short. They are nice enough to wear in public for sports, jogging, or on the boat. Would be great for sleepwear also. I bought a second pair in another color.

I bought these for just one purpose: warm weather PJ bottoms. They are very soft, fit nicely ( I have a 30" waist and bought the M) and will be perfect with a soft tee for warm spring and summer nights

I previously ordered the large shorts in black, and they worked okay as a lounge/workout shorts. I don't love the thick, wide waistband, but price and length were the priority.However, please note that the large navy shorts were the same length, but the waist was a full 2 inches wider! For reference: the black shorts were 34 inches around and the navy were 36 inches.I hope this helps future shoppers!

Hanes Women's Jersey Short, Charcoal Heather, MediumThese were advertised as 100 percent cotton, but they're not. Label of the pair I received says they're 60 percent cotton. So, that's a strike against them. But, still, they are comfy and really fit well, and they have pockets, and when I tried them on, I just wanted to wear them all evening. And they quickly became my pajama shorts. So, I guess they're a go.Good shorts, specially at the price point. If they were double the price, and they'd said they were all cotton, I'd have been more disappointed. At this price point, I can let go of that 40 percent polyester that's in them. Still comfy for eight big ones.These are a great fit. I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs. The medium work well.

It's rare to find women's shorts that are 100% cotton -- although be aware that only the black and blue shades are both 100% cotton, while the grey shades are a cotton/polyester mix. While the shorts are comfortable and fall at a good length (neither too short nor too long), I was disappointed to see that the stitching along the outer legs of the shorts had defects that made the material look lumpy in places. So I had to return about half of the shorts that I received for this reason, as they clearly had defective stitching that made the shorts look unsightly. For this reason, I'm giving this item a 2-star review rather than a 4-star review.

I bought these shorts to wear around the house in the summer. I am normally a medium but bought a large so they would be loose. These shorts are so incredibly comfy and soft. I love them. I bought two other colours. They are a bit long so not the most stylish, but for lounging around the house in the summer they are perfect.

Sizing is for North American Sizes. I'm 5'9, 240 LBS and the XL fit me perfectly not too loose not to tight over my belly. Breathable, non-bunching in the thigh & came out of the wash, in cold water the same size. :)

Just what i was looking for. So hard to find 100% cotton shorts these days that aren't bermuda style or short shorts. These are perfect mid thigh range.

LOVE these! I will be ordering in more colours for sure. People have complained of the cheapness of these but honestly, how high are their expectations of a 12$ pair of shorts? They are exactly as described.

I bought one pair and they fit great! Super stretchy and great for the beach/workout/sleeping/ or just bumming around in the tropics. I liked them so much I bought two more! I have a hard time with shorts because of my pear shaped figure and these look great. They fit loosely on the legs, which is a nice bonus... but snug at the middle just as you'd want them.

I ordered from the pic and description but wasn't sure what I would get. Imagine my surprise when I found these shorts are in colour, material, finishing touches, everything, duplicates of a set of clothes -- short-sleeved top, cargo pants, and skirt -- which I bought decades ago. Truly strange; I got out the cargo pants to confirm this, and all that's different is the label. These shorts are comfortable, roomy, and with the drawstring, adjustable where you need it. Love 'em.

Esta marca siempre viene una talla más grande y sabiendo esto pedà una talla más chica, pero especÃficamente este short en color negro viene dos tallas más grande!!! O sea que el chico parece (es) grande, ojala hubiera la opción de comprar talla extra chica, sabiendo esto les recomiendo comprar otra marca si es que buscan un short más coherente con las tallas. Aún no se si devolverlo o quedármelo y usarlo para dormir.Lo único salvable es que cuanta con dos bolsillos delanteros porque a tela no se siente muy suave, es un poco rÃgida.
