Pretty bag, problem handles

The bag is beautiful but within a week the leather of the handle starts to tear where it was stitched to the bag. The way it was stitched creates a perforation that weakens the leather of the handle and allows it to tear. I had to stop using it because the handle is about to snap apart. :( Otherwise the bag is lovely.
The wool parts of the bag are nice but the rest is very cheap looking and feels ...

The wool parts of the bag are nice but the rest is very cheap looking and feels stiff and cheap to the touch too. Though I do like the wool design, I returned it because the rest of the bag was so unappealing. The inside was especially unappealing--cheap, stiff, flimsy material--and would not last long. Too bad because, as I mentioned before, the wool & design is on the mark. It's too expensive for the poor quality, in my opinion.

Very nice. Love the leather on the bottom. Handles are sturdy enough for a purse but not for use as book bag.
Pendleton look for a lot less! Great bag, just get it!

My boyfriend purchased this bag for me from my amazon wishlist and I have been using this bag everyday since. I have not had any problems with straps pulling away from the bag, and I have put quite a bit of stuff in it from time to time. The straps are pretty thick and the leather has held up really nicely. Some of the fabric has pilled but nothing too bad. I get so many compliments on it! I have had some people ask me if it is a Pendleton!
Returning it, but I L.O.V.E. it.

You might ask how I can give a 5 and be returning this purse. I adore this bag. It's well constructed, it's beautiful, the colors are vibrant and sharp--It's everything I wanted.....except that it's just 2 inches wide and my tried and trusted purse organizer won't fit because it's about 4.5 inches wide. And I have to have that organizer.I even tried to figure out a way to put a new bottom on it. I was reminded by a friend of mine that I'm not real good at that sort of thing and I would have to match the leather on the handles. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I really wanted it.

I purchased this this tote bag on Amazon, and so far I love it. Not only is it very pretty, it is very roomy. It easily holds my laptop, books, and all my stuff i need to carry around. The strap are sturdy and fit my shoulder very well. I am 5'2" and this bag fits me perfectly. The hand woven wool is beautiful and attracts a lot of attention and complements. If there is anything I could nit-pick it would be the inside lining. It's not as plush as i would prefer. However, I'm giving it 5 stars because it is 3 to 4 times lower in price than other western wool bags i have looked at, and in my opinion, thes bag is much prettier.
