BIG improvement over the version they had two years ago!

About two or three years ago, when I purchased my first one, the strap would only adjust on one side of the sholder pad... now there are adjustible buckles on BOTH sides of the shoulder pad, making it easy now to center camera where you want it. The strap itself is made VERY well. This is MUCH better than the Carrysafe 100 because THIS strap uses NO unreinforced webbing anywhere between the strap and the connectors. I highly recommend that anyone going out into the public with pro level photo gear to get THIS strap
They've all been great, till this one

I've used Pacsafe products for years. They've all been great, till this one. The clips that attach the strap to the bag are made of metal. However, the little collar that locks the clips is made of poor quality PLASTIC. Mine arrived from Amazon with one of the plastic collars split in two. I contacted Pacsafe to see if I could replacement parts from them instead of dealing with returning the whole thing. They couldn't do anything except to suggest exchanging the whole thing. I decided to jury rig it with a piece that I cut from a Papermate pen. Not as elegant, but it won't break like the Pacsafe ones did/will.Also, as other have mentioned, there will still be a weak link in this security system on whatever bag the strap is clipped to. I'll be reinforcing the strap on the bag where it connects to the clip anchor somehow. Still figuring that one out. Might wrap it in soft copper flashing and covering that with gaffers tape to make it slash proof. So, one star off for the cheap plastic part, one star off for Pacsafe's customer no service.
Strap is comfortable. Locks definitely will work

Strap is comfortable. Locks definitely will work. I had trouble getting it to open to put on my camera. Only drawback - When I turn my camera for portrait type photos, the strap falls in the way. You can move it out of the way. I can work with this, but it is annoying.
One-Tough-Strong-Carrystrap

Very high quality and good construction. Hooks are too large to attach to Large-Body Nikon camera without additional rings. Great to attach camera-bag around neck and under shoulder. Twin stainless-steel wires run end-to-end are flush inside of the strap and make the strap "almost" cut-proof. Outstanding value product. Carried a Nikon camera and camera-bag with this strap all over Europe during a 30-day excursion with no problems.

I needed a replacement strap for my regular laptop bag and having other PacSafe products, I thought I would try this out. It arrived on time and has all the usual PacSafe hallmarks. It is VERY strong and obviously slash proof as you would expect. Like all other PacSafe straps on their bags, this strap can be a little stiff at first because it has mesh wiring inside it but that soon sorts itself out once you start using it. The security features are up to the usual high standard.

Having tried several different straps which all snapped/broke under the weight of my bag I've been pretty pleased with the Pacsafe one as far as strength is concerned. It's very well made and is still going strong after six months of regular use (I travel a lot and am not very good at packing sensibly!). However the 'non-slip shoulder pad' is pretty useless and it gets too easily twisted on the strap. It's a shame because they obviously put some effort into the design of the strap as a whole but they need to go back to the drawing board on the pad to make it more robust and less squishy (technical term).
If you tote cameras, This might be a must have.

Most comfortable camera strap I have used. Nice and wide and the extra padding is great. I am always looking for a better camera strap. I often find myself toting the camera and a telephoto lens (not one of todays plastic and acrylic lenses but a good old 1980's Minolta metal and glass beercan) and after several hours, my neck is usually screaming. I bought this one to try on a three week trip and although a little bulkier and heavier than normal for a camera strap, I found the extra width and the adjustable padding to be a magnificent addition to my photography experience. I went to Ace hardware and got some locking S-carabiners to mount on the camera and the pac-safe lock snaps right on.
SLOW DELIVERY SPEED

This is a fundamentally good product but it took 2 weeks to get to me. I was quoted at least two prior incorrect delivery dates,Product comment: I had to order a set of smaller swivels to connect this to my camera because the swivels on the strap were too large to fit in the triangular "rings" on mt Sony camera. I am ADA and cannot easily get to a store and the 2 swivels that I had to purchase to make the strap work, although worth less than $1, cost me $8 or more on Amazon because I had to buy lots of pieces in order to get just one.
Don't walk through sketchy neighborhoods without it.

This is the second I've bought for different camera bags. Like their camera straps, they are comfortable and give great confidence that some creep with a pair of scissors or knife won't easily snip/slash and run with your camera or bag. Easily locks around fixed objects like your restaurant chair, table or train seat feet, protecting against thieves with snares.
A safe strap for your valuable possesitions

I really like this strap. It's very well made and has a comfortable shoulder pad. I also have the PACFAFE camera strap. I really don't think you could get a better strap at any cost. The metal connectors are great that they lock, further protecting your expensive camera equipment. By looking at it, you would never believe it had metal cables sewn in. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the quality is great, well worth the price.

Excellent strap, and I'm assured that it's pretty much uncutable and unbreakable. It's comfortable and pretty stiff but the pad is nice and thick. Very suitable for heavy bags...The item shown on the Amazon page is NOT a Pacsafe 200, it's a Pacsafe 100 camera strap.

Beautifully strong and comfortable to wear. I use this on a mulberry style handbag so I can carry my camera in it without risk of the original strap breaking. Doesn't look as good as the original but still looks like a handbag and works a treat.
