Perfect for short people looking for a loose lounge sweater

The other reviews are correct. It's boxy, shapeless, has a short waist and short sleeves, and the bottom is completely open. BUT! It's great for short people. I'm about 5'1 (nearly 5'2! Just kidding I can't even round up to 5'2) and the sleeves are at the perfect wrist-length for me. The bottom hits right at my hips. I was looking for a loose sweater I could wear around the house and go running in, as I like a loose sweater over fitted/tight athletic wear and this seems perfect. If you have a muffin top or tummy to hide, this will treat you kindly. It's comfy and not too heavy or light. I sleep in it sometimes too. That said, I won't be recording any music videos or going on dates wearing this sweater, unless the music video is starring my dogs and my "date" consists of eating junk food alone in front of my computer.However, I haven't washed it yet so I'm not too sure about shrinkage, though I only use cold water so shrinking isn't a normal concern for me. It seems to be "good" in quality, as far as Hanes goes I don't consider them a particularly quality or durable brand, more as an economy brand. The seams seem to be pretty good and it doesn't seem as prone to pilling as their sweatpants, but time will tell. At this price point, I don't really care. $5 with free shipping? I might as well buy all the other colors and if/when they break down on me I'll just use it as stuffing for my dog's bed. Win-win in my book.For size reference, it does run smaller than Hanes' typically "relaxed" vanity sizing. Typically I wear medium in Hanes shirts and pants, going with a relaxed/loose fit. I am 36C, sometimes 38C and got an XL which fits comfortably loose. It would be no big deal if it shrank a little bit, and if it doesn't then I know I can size down on my next purchase if I want to.

I purchased this sweatshirt because I wanted the hot pink color. I ordered size small. Iâm 5 ft. 6 inches and weigh 125 lbs. The bottom band lays over my hip bones and the sleeves are just right as you can see from the photo. It is soft and comfortable, and washes nicely with no pilling. I donât use a drier so I donât know about shrinkage. I am happy with this purchase. The price is right and I plan to buy more in different colors.

It's a pretty boxy swearshirt, which was comfy. I got a small (bust 34, torso 25) to decorate as an ugly holiday sweater. It wasn't tight at all, and held up awesomely against all my sewing and gluing.

Fabric is soft and the fit is just right. I wish people who complained this is boxy had taken a good look at the product pictures here on Amazon because even on the model you can tell the cut is both boxy and a little short. Personally I donât mind and a lot of sweatshirts seem to be cut like that these days. Another review says the sleeves are short; maybe thatâs a factory issue since my arms are long and the sleeves are fine. Iâm 5â4 and got both Heather and Pale Pink in Small. The pale pink, pictured, is not nearly as pale as it looks on Amazon. More cotton candy (or Millenial pink?), so be warned if thatâs not what youâre going for.

I have been needing long sleeve sweatshirts and I knew Hanes would be the perfect brand.I have bought other ones in the past and they are very comfortable,warm and they fit well.I'm planning on buying more colors.I also like how well they hide my stomach and it goes down to my thigh. Love you Hanes

I really like this sweatshirt! It's exactly how I imagined it to be. It's lightweight but still keeps you warm. I'm usually an extra small, but since that size wasn't offered, I got a small, and it gives me the perfect oversized look. I imagine that this is true to size, since it's slightly bigger than what I should be wearing.The inside is nice and soft. The sleeves are the perfect length, where they go just past my wrists, but don't look like I'm trying to hide my hands (although I could still do that if I wanted to). I would buy more of these if more colors were available! They do have the nice basic colors which is nice.

They run small. For the price the quality is good. I ordered a small but should have gotten a medium because it might have shrunk a little. It's not tight but feels a little short and I'm not even tall 5"2 117lbs. Pic was taking before washing.. will update w a new pic that shows difference.Update.. Steve has a hole after its first wash. It's unfurtunate that it happened so soon I really liked it, but now it's falling apart

I like the slightly short length on this sweatshirt. The neck is high and a little wide, with nice feminine style stitching. The bottom diameter is very wide due to the boxy shape so it gaps a few inches so it will not make you very warm. The sleeves are a little narrow but not too tight for my big arms like most long sleeve shirts. The sleeves are the perfect length. However I did size up one size from Small to Medium like I usually do for sweatshirts. I'm 5'7" 150lbs 36A

The sweatshirt is really cute. I am 5 ft 3 @ 115 lbs and I bought a size Small. The bottom of the sweatshirt rests right at my hip bone. The sleeves are a bit on the short side (ends slightly above the wrists) I usually pull up the sleeves like the picture listed so this doesn't bother me at all.

I have now worn this sweatshirt for a couple of weeks and sadly it looks like I I've worn it for many months. The material has already got a lot of pills, (also known as bobbles or lint balls) showing both outside and inside. Had I known that the fabric was so poor and would change so fast to looking worn, I would certainly not have bought the sweatshirt in the first place and unluckily I bought 2, as they looked nice on the website photo.

Had high hopes for this sweatshirt because I love Hanes products however, just received it and it was not what I expected.I normally wear a large and am 5 7" but ordered an XL for the larger look. This sweatshirt is short, boxy, tight arms and no stretch. This reminds me of the sweatshirts I was given as a child from the deep discount stores where I felt confined to the stiff arms and large shoulders. Yes, the price for this sweater should have made me think twice but I thought it had to be somewhat decent.. should have gone with my instincts.It is very unfortunate that this shirts quality is below average but will keep because I can't be bothered to return it.

These are the best sweat shirts I have ever bought. So pleased with them that I have bought 4 so far and will be ordering more. Lovely soft comfortable fabric, perfect fit, wash like a dream and have not lost their shape.

Extremely disappointed!! Hanes has totally gone downhill with this. Short waisted, can't keep my back warm. Poorly stitched, thin cotton material, the fleece is thin. Before washing & after washing LINT everywhere. It SHEDS from inside. It gets lint balls all along the sleeves & underarms. I have to CONSTANTLY lint shave them each time they're worn or washed & I've only worn then twice, washed twice. In 27 yrs of consumerism & wearing/washing garments I've never encountered anything so ridiculous for 'knubbing'. I'd give them away exept they're alright for lounging around my apt or wearing to the gym [don't get them contact with a t-shirt underneath or a cardigan_then they end up covered with lint!]

I'm 5'3", 160 lbs, and measure 39/31/43. I usually wear a medium top, or a size 8...because of the recommendations on here, and on the sizing guide, I ordered a large thinking that it would be the perfect fit. It's not...it was at least a size too big. I've washed it and dried it on hot and it fits a bit better, so I guess that's acceptable.As the others have said, the sweater is quite short, and so the bigger sizes are just WIDE...comically so. I'll probably sew in some side seams for some femme shaping. For the price, it's what I wanted- a lightweight black sweatshirt that I can embellish. Next time I'll get a medium!

This sweatshirt is very comfy and looks great. I actually love the pink.I would recommend ordering 1-2 sizes larger... I ordered a Large, 1 size larger than I normally wear, as I was looking for an oversized sweatshirt, but it was almost too small. The bottom of the sweatshirt sits just at my waist band. The arms were too short for me, but I have monkey arms, so that's normal.

This is quite a nice sweatshirt overall, however it's a bit boxy, the sleeves could be a but longer and it's a bit undersized, I.e. the XXL should really fit a size 18 to 20, say, yet I doubt very much that it would comfortably fit someone in that size range and it'd be very tight at best. I'm a size 16 and it just fits me with a bit of room to spare. I see that another reviewer has said this is the best sweatshirt she's ever had - that's either overstating it or she's never had really well!-fitting, accurately sized sweatshirts before! This one in my opinion is just OK and, in fact, mine might now be relegated to being used as loungwear when, in fact, I'd bought it hoping to wear it outside!

I am 5'6 and around 130 pounds. I ordered a size M and I would say this sweater is true to size and at such a great price point you cannot go wrong with getting it. The inside is very soft and it has that comfy/cozy feeling like a hoodie but with thinner material. The sleeve length is perfect and so is the length of the sweater overall but if you want that oversized feel then go up a size. This is a great sweater for those cold nights where you just want to be warm and comfy. Pair it with sweats or pajama pants for ultimate comfort. I would say it's best to wear it during colder temperatures as you'll most likely be sweating in this in warm weather as it is surprisingly thick but not bulky.

Like most reviewers, it's pretty boxy and square and short. I normally wear a small and got a medium as I wanted a looser fit. Because of the hem and boxiness, it doesn't really drape so air just flows underneath! Sleeves were a good length.The pink is a little like cotton candy. It is pretty soft and fuzzy on the inside. I just wear around the house and maybe for sleeping, it's not very thick. Alright for $10.99. The men's version looks more like a classic sweatshirt.

Good value for unbelievably low price point . I ordered up one size, as I wanted to be cozy at home on cooler evenings and wear over a T shirt. The length is not the usual for fleece sweat tops.. Not crop exactly , but shorter than typical. I washed on cold , hung to dry and still noticed some shrinkage after the first wash. I have not worn as yet.. but it feels soft and fleecy on the underside and seems fairly well made. Medium thickness which is fine for indoors or maybe as exercise wear. I like the light steel colour.. bit heathered which I like. Overall a great low price point casual fleecy top which should last awhile with care when washing . Happy with this purchase.

I'm not sure what kind of human women, if any, these are supposed to fit. The bigger the size you go up, the wider it gets but barely any longer. These are basically made for women that have no torso's at all. Super odd fitting but DECENT at the price point. Be ready to have to keep pulling these down if you use them for pyjamas.

Fit as expected, sort of true to size but the color deep dive heather is not as shown in the picture, it's a little less brighter in person. Also the style of the sweatshirt has no shape. The material is thin but quite comfy:)

Love this sweatshirt! Itâs super soft, not too thick (but not thin either) and is a great casual top for fall weekends. After I see how it washes I will probably order it in more colours. I am 5 feet tall and 125 lbs and got a medium (I am normally a small) since I wanted it to be a bit roomy. It fits me perfectly - perfect length in torso and arms a bit baggy (which is what I wanted). However, I can see it fitting too short on someone who is taller...
