I bought these shorts not for exercising, but actually for the sole purpose to wear under dresses to help keep the dreaded chub rub at bay (you ladies with thick thighs know what I mean!!). To that end, they did their job! The shorts are soft and very stretchy, and as an added bonus they helped keep my belly under wraps as well as protect my thick thighs from chafing under the dress. You canât tell I was wearing anything underneath. The size chart was right on point, I am 5â4â and weigh about 200lbs, so I bought the XL and they fit perfect.

I am 5â3â. 155ish lbs. wear 9-11 pants. I def got some junk in my trunk! I probably couldâve gotten a Large but the medium works for me and I wear them all the time!!! I also bought burgundy ones!!! The pockets on the side are amazing for hiking, so convenient! Def will buy more!

These shorts are going to be part of my Summer 2018 anthem. I wore them for the first time during a 10K race (took a chance) and they served me well. The high waist keeps my tummy in place. The 8" inseam is a comfortable length on my thighs - not too short or long. The legs didn't ride up either. The pockets were perfect for my big phone - a Samsung J7. Not once did my phone pop out. Perfect thickness of fabric - passed the squat test (not see-through when squatting). Several of my runner friends were interested in them for themselves. I immediately bought another pair in navy. I imagine I'll purchase a few more pairs as I train for my marathon.Update: I will officially be wearing these shorts for the Chicago Marathon. I've worn them all summer and they have held up every step of the way.
Running shorts with a good phone pocket

Had already bought the Baleaf capris with the phone pocket and wanted to try the shorts. Can't believe how many manufacturers are ignoring active women who need a spot for their phones! So happy to discover Baleaf. The pocket fit my iPhone 7 in its case and held it firmly against my upper outer thigh so there wasn't bouncing around and I didn't get chaffed. There was also a hidden pocket at the waist that could actually hold a key with fob, not just a single key. Again, HOORAY and why don't more makers of activewear think of this? How many people just run out the door with NOTHING when they go run, walk or bike? I am 5'6" and wear a size 8 comfortably and the medium fit the way I wanted. It felt supportive and snug but nothing was tight. I am a runner and appreciate that the legs of the shorts didn't ride up as I ran. Fabric was a good thickness, not at all see through. I am a fan!

I love these, I love to wear them hiking and around the house but also under skirts. The pockets are what set these apart. I bought a M, I am 5'7, athletic build. 155lbs.
Holds in my mom tummy

Iâm 5â10 and about 205 pounds carrying most of my weight in my tummy. I purchased and xxl based off of size chart. I love that the waist goes above my belly button and holds in all of my muffin top and belly bulge. Even when I am going on light jogs it stays up!!!! I almost never find myself adjusting and pulling them back up. I use these several times a week during my workouts or when Iâm deep cleaning. They are very comfortable. Never left with a red mark around my waist. They are stretchy yet form fitting. I will be purchasing more since I love the longer length (no chub rub with this length), non shiny fabric and the high waist (above be belly button). However, I do get the tiny fabric balls on inner thigh area after a few times wearing them so Iâm only giving them 3 stars. They start to shabby after several uses so while great for working out I wouldnât wear these out and about in public unless brand new.

I would err on the next size up from your regular size. Nice fabric though not quite as thick as I would have preferred. Color is great. My favorite length (bike short length), harder to find these days.

I've been working out for a month or so now, and the existing shorts and whatnot I had were fine but definitely not enough to rotate through for the amount I've been going to classes. So I decided to fill in with 2 pairs of these. I'm very pleased with these so far.- Light, comfortable, stretchy material that still feels like I'm wearing something substantial enough if I'm just walking around in them.- I sweat a lot, and the material for these definitely helps with that.- BIG pockets that fit my large phone (LG) comfortably, and I don't feel any worry about it falling out.

These pants are slightly weird in their fit, the bottoms are tight around the thighs so they give a nice silhouette around the butt area but the tummy area is looser so not much support and then the band around the top is quite tight so they dig in and create a mark under clothes. They also don't come up high enough above the muffin so it digs in about 3/4 of the way up so there's still a bit of a muffin top going on. I was more hoping for tummy support or at least a smoothing out of the tummy area so I'm a bit disappointed. I would probably recommend them if you have a flat stomach but if you have a bit of a tummy then I'd chose something else.

From other reviews I decided to go with an XL . I wear a size 12-14 pants. Which was a good choice, fit nicely.

I would definitely buy them again? I normally wear a medium and I always size up to a large when spandex is involved and these fit great. Material is thick enough so that you canât see through them. There are two pockets on each side of your thighs and an inside pocket on the left front side of your body near your waist line. I have bought and returned so many workout shorts so I am super pleased with this product.

I am so delighted with my Baleaf shorts. I am living in them. I wanted a long enough short to cover my loose skin after losing a hundred pounds. They are very comfortable and hold everything where it should be. They are not see through, which makes the world of difference.

I wore these for 4 weeks hiking mountain trails in Italy (yes, I did wash them out every several days, and they wash and dry quickly) and they were absolutely the perfect thing. Six to seven hours of hiking a day in 35C heat and they never got baggy or saggy. The pockets on the side of the legs were perfect for my phone/camera, as I could get at it easily and quickly without fussing with always putting it back in a bag, it just slid in and stayed put. One of the first things I did when I got home was order another pair. Best shorts ever!

High waisted, stayed in place around the waist and the thighs. Material is matte rather than shiny which I liked, pockets for large smartphone, nice length, slightly longer than the norm for running shorts. Pleased.

I bought the purple and the black in this Baleaf brand with the high waist. I definitely was not disappointed. These pants fit so well. I got both in Small, I have a 25 waist with 38 hips and my thighs are 22. I wish i could have gotten them in the black and charcoal but they was not size :(

These shorts are exactly as shown and fit like a glove. Probably my favourite shorts at the moment. I was going for the biker short and oversized tee trend and these were perfect! I also actually wore them on a real bike ride and they did an excellent job of being a biker short. Fashion AND function. Bonus points for the pockets.

Juni 19: sehr angenehm aber ich habe mich doch für eine andere hose entschieden da ich denke dass man auf dieser Hose sehr wohl SchweiÃflecken sehen kann und ich mich damit nicht wohl fühlen würde10. Juli 10, Nachtrag:Absolute Kaufempfehlung für die schwarze Hose.Ich habe die Hose in holzkohlegrau erhalten, war von dem Material zwar sehr angetan (weich, kaum spürbar auf der Haut, schöne Farbe) aber nach dem Belastungstest waren Schweissflecken (tlw. im Schritt) zu sehen welches mir nicht gefiel. Für die Hose habe ich gesamt trotzdem 3 Sterne vergeben.Nun habe ich die schwarze erneut probiert und sie ordentlich getestet, das Material ist etwas anders als bei der grauen, nicht ganz so âstoffigâ aber trotzdem sehr angenehm.Die Tasche auf der Seite (auf beiden Seiten ist eine vorhanden!) ist ideal wenn man eine Schlüsselkarte oder Spindschlüssel einstecken möchte. Ich habe es natürlich wissen wollen und habe mein iPhone plus hinein gesteckt und bin laufen gegangen. Das Handy rutscht nicht raus, also top. Ich habe alle Foto nach dem Sport gemacht und online gestellt, Schweissflecken nur minimal ersichtlich und das auch nur mit Blitz.Den Bund kann man auf zwei Varianten tragen, auch hier habe ich zwei verschiedene Fotos online gestellt.Klappt man den Bund um bleibt er auch beim Laufen so, bin allerdings nicht sicher ob man die Bundtasche so richtig nutzen kann.die 3/4 Hose lächelt mich gerade fürs Fahrradfahren an und die Lange Hose wäre für den Winter ideal, mal sehen ob ich noch weitere Hosen besorge.Fazit: die schwarze kurze Hose bekommt von mir 5 Sterne

Quality is excellent, very soft and fits well on the butt and hips. I gave 4 star because the front part doesnât lay flat. I am attributing this for my body structure. My hip is small. I am keeping the item because it is comfortable enough to be used as underwear or can be worn with a long top to cover the area that is not flattering. My hip only measures 37 so I ordered medium size. I am not sure if the small will fit me better.
